I bought a proper tube bender for this reason. You kinda need a traditional tube bender if you don't want the tubes collapsing in on themselves. The Amazon pipe bender will work to a point but you need to divide the bend into 10mm sections and bend each section a little and it takes about 20 minutes just to do one bend. Packing with sand will also help a little

One more thing tubing is measured on the outside and the dyes are marked for pipe that is measured on the inside so a 1" dye is used on a 1 1/4 tube and if the tube is thin walled you will have to fill it with fine sand just tape the ends with duct or masking tape. and bend a little every inch around the radius.

Hi Danny, I’ve had the same issues. If I pack it with sand it improves it quite a bit.

if you pack the pipe with sand and tape the ends with duct tape the bender will do thinner pipe with out crushing it FYI.

I just tried to set one of these up today 08/14/2021 and the engineering or the manufacturer got it wrong. There are three faults with mine. I made internal spacers 4 3/4 " then bolted it together with 5/8 " bolts to add strength to the frame and when I looked at the rollers one of mine was drilled crooked and came out 1/8"th off center on the opposite side so it will never roll round on the pins that are 3/16" smaller than the hole in the roller so when you jack up the dye the first thing it will do is force the small pin up against the top of the big hole in the roller and prevent the rollers from spinning thus jamming the pipe into the dye and crushing the pipe. D SC I can't believe they have sold millions of these defective machines. I can fix mine with a larger roller pin but I have to pity all those millions who will never know how to fix theirs.

Try adjusting the two pins you have in the top holes. Open it up so it isn't try to put such a tight bend. You my have to bend it twice or more by sneaking up on it. Ronnie.

used properly it can bend up 90 degrees.

those benders are no good for anything under 3-3.2mm walled pipe, even then it needs cold rolled pipe you will never get them to bend exhaust pipe no matter how tight the dye is you need a mandrel bender and then you will be pressed to find one under $2k for anything over 25mm

My son you got your channel to muddled up! For one you're not even bending pipes the right way you have to spend it with you to peach pressure or a solid as in you could have put some sand inside of that pipe bent it wider first and then brought your guys in closer you would have perfect friends you're not using that tool correctly whatsoever or you could have used yeah could you you got your channel you got your wires crossed you just don't know enough about vending you need all kinds of stuff lubrication and heat you got all those fine tools there you should have filled those pipes with Sandy tape them with black tape so it can puff out a little bit started white on the bedroom and then work your way and thinner and it will work perfectly instead of trying to defend it to the smallest right away and I don't need the smallest size of pipe doesn't work the other vendors we can just use them right on the table but she puts the bend on a little guy that's the kind that I use works on all sizes
