Many Islamic channels have clarified that TH-cam is enforcing ads even on non-monetised channels and they are not making any money on it. I believe they can turn off certain topics (sex, gambling, alcohol maybe). Other than that they have no control. Reality is Muslims need to be building their own platforms and digital infrastructure that is easy to use.
