One of the best part ever, 'watched it so many times... every trick is so tasteful, Ryan's style is one of the best, so pure and he always knows how to surprise in this part. The combination with the music is so good, I've already watched this part a 100 of times and I could watch it 100 more times without any problem! I think that PRod should have followed this way instead of losting in extreme switch complexity and street league stuffs : just looking for pure tasty tricks and pure steeze.
thanks so much for uploading this. first love has to be the most inspiring skate movie to watch. i just finished watching it then. and came on here to share something. after watching this movie i realise what its like to skateboard to your best. the feeling you get when you land a trick and roll away after a full day of attempts. its just amazing and nothing comes close to the feeling of riding a skateboard.
especially if you try one trick for so long. thats why bailing is good. if we didnt bail and just landed our shit, then skating wouldnt be the same. the feeling of trying something for so long and commiting fully to the trick, and then you land it. holy shit.
classic part, classic style. every time he shuvs into a noseslide/crook it makes this noise that sounds like bowling pins being knocked over, and it's beern stuck in my head since 2005. this was right before he got in plan b right? hence the blank board big spin. it's a shame transworld (both the magazine and videos) have been forgotten about. they were just as, if not more, influential as thrasher, but at some point it became cool to hate on em. kind of funny considering how contrived thrasher is. bunch of try hards.

Umm DC is definately not a sellout brand and people dont care what your oppinion is,just have fun and skate dont worry about what is a poser brand and what is not. I would rather ride DC's then Fallens anyday...
Intro still gives me chills years later!
I just cried to one of the best videos out there with the one of the best old school song with one of the best skateboarders out there
Still crying

Its my fav skate part all time.the song.the skate.the tricks.lol
Criiinge
3:06 it's the best fakie frontside ollie of all times
3:07 for direct pop
the half-cab at 3:08 is so sick looking as well as the whole line
This part has aged so well. Intro is so true and genuine. Editing and song is iconic. Tricks are quality and well done. Can't beat it.
Ryan will forever inspire me! One of the best styles in skateboarding then and now!
this guy lives and breathes harmony on the board, so cool and stylish skating... one of a kind
The line 2:19 gives me the chills. So good!! Beautiful.
Very tom penny like
So smooth. This is real skateboarding so much better than all the youtube shit that is out there.
yes yes
all skateboarding is skateboarding!! What matters is that your constantly stepping on that board and progressing for yourself.
BOLTS! BOLTS! EVERYTHING BOLTS!!!
Hell yeah, and air catched!!
TIMELESS PART! Wish this was uploaded in better quality.
The song gives me chills to this day.
fuck. the intro speech is so good in this part

Who else is here in 2020? All time favorite parts
I will never not get goosebumps watching this.
I’m so grateful to have grown up during this era of skating
I love how Ryan stomps his tricks, once he has the rotation he literally slams every lb of his body weight into the deck. It’s great to watch
TWS kinda always made great work! Another masterpiece here...
Every trick from the line in the parking lot to fs flip off the set was butter af!!
Ryan needs to make more parts he fucking shreds
Great into. I know that feeling all too well
one of the best parts ever, sickest line with the fs flip near the end.
I watch this vid almost every day... Such a great skater and makes me want to go skate.. Such a smooth bigspin noseblunt in the begining..
I remember when this video came out. That flatground frontside halfcab changed skateboarding overnight.
That front heel that starts at 2:04 is one of the sickest things I've ever seen.
Part makes you wanna skate at night
Exactly! Always inspired me to night skate
I feel like the editors never get enough credit, but got damn did they do a great job on this video.
exactly the way i feel about skatin.....ryan gallant is awesome
Unique style !!! UNIQUE
If Ryan gallant isn’t in your top 5 something is very wrong. Style for days, and super aggressive lines
mas de 6 años patinando y vuelvo haber uno de los primeros vídeos que vi cuando empezaba a patinar y te llegan todos esos recuerdos :')

Does anyone know the name of the song in the first 30 seconds? (not the main song)

forever puts me in my feelings
Do what you love! Skate on brother!
met him today and he was fucking cool.
especially if you try one trick for so long. thats why bailing is good. if we didnt bail and just landed our shit, then skating wouldnt be the same. the feeling of trying something for so long and commiting fully to the trick, and then you land it. holy shit.
