good recovery on the tripod gary the van build is coming along nicely buddy just watched the carpet video i bet you was sweating like a baker in this heat nice little touch would be grey curtains to break the black up a bit in the back ur choice totally buddy
Wow Gray yet again coming along nicely I bet when you drive it it sounds as quite as anything very professional bud 👍looking forward to the carpeting bit 👍
Coming along well, the floor in my van was something I didn't do as the existing ply floor was in very good order. In the D pillars the little missing grille on the offside has a cigar lighter socket in do the wiring will be there somewhere, just something to be aware of.
Nicely coming along Gary , I bet that glue smelt lovely with the side doors and windows closed , make sure you've got plenty thick enough wiring with access and provision for add ons 👍👍
Looking good starting to take shape now bud I'm on doing a mk6 transit plenty of welding first lol I've been watching your dad's Mk6 transit welding videos been good can't wait to see what you do next bud
Thats exactly how we soundproofed and insulated the floor of our spare room! Had enough of the gold to insulate the garage door on top of some 25mm polystyrene sheet, and make wraps for the home brew kegs in the garage. That gold is seriously useful stuff! Once you start with it you find all sorts of uses.
3.2 mm ply for walls and roof made the panels detachable with fir tree clips using the holes already in the van for a crew cab roof th-cam.com/video/W1QuWcq4WEw/w-d-xo.html

I'm almost certain that the floor insulation was leftover from the Apollo 12 luner module 😀
😂😂👍🏻
Can I ask why you chose that particular insulation please
It had good reviews and was a fair price.
Better than Lees van already.. where's the toilet????
Took everything out to do the floor
First 💪
