I also really appreciate the fact that your business is not just built on teaching people how to build a business but that you have an existing business.

When it comes to the niche thing, I saw an account that literally posted those sewer entrance thingies (idk what they’re called, I’m a lil dumb). Tis confusing but it’s interesting. Anyways, I started an art account a week or so ago. My art specifically focuses on my idea of pastel goth / creepy cute. It’s a little too cute and not enough dark but I like my version and others do too. I think the niche thing is super helpful because now I know who to market to.
I think it's also important though to remember that you can mute people's stories! So don't just post pointless content continuously on there because people may mute you entirely. I have definitely muted people that have over posted or kept sharing low quality stories that were not interesting.

The algorithm is far from a myth. All social media platforms use an algorithm to determine what users see, it's a known fact. How it works has been the myth, but earlier this year the @Creators account on Instagram broke it down in the most depth than any platform has in the past.

There's no standard timeframe really, it all depends on how engaging people find your posts, how much time you spend daily engaging with potential followers, and whether you're using ads. If you're doing everything to the maximum, it could take a matter of days or weeks, but on average I'd say a few months (ballpark, I'm pulling figures from the air here). - C
At 5:14 you said ( does your page look professional?) I take all my photos at home on my cell! I am going to try and take more photos outside this upcoming year! I just got a tripod and a new phone! Hopefully it will step up my Instagram game!

And if so is there a way to turn that option off from coming up in news feed before it does ? ….. might sound strange but I’d like to keep it to myself for awhile , there are sometimes some “friends “ that aren’t really friends and hoping for you to fail unfortunately so i tend to want to keep this new business venture only to myself and small circle for now but it’s preventing me from finishing up the IG business page which I know is holding me back ……. So you're safe - it doesn't notify people on your friends list about your new business, it's just a backend connection so you can run ads and access insights, etc. I know exactly what you mean though :) Ayy Canada, love to see it! I have a question for you. How do you know if your profile has been shadow banned. Is that a “thing” even? If so, what causes it and how do you fix? I suspect my profile to be shadow banned
You never really know for sure, but you can usually tell when you're getting little to no engagement or reach from posts. They claim it isn't a thing but they also said there are certain posts they won't recommend, so obviously there's something there that they won't publicly confirm. - C

Potentially. It's certainly not optimal to not follow anybody, it's mean to be "social" media so if you're not following anyone, it's telling the algorithm you're not being social so I'd imagine that would restrict your growth. We've done videos about who to follow in the past to guide you through it. - C

I’ve watched countless videos and I’m doing everything TH-camrs say “works” but I’m not saying ANY benefits. It’s been almost 2 full weeks and the only followers I have came from people I know. I have 10 followers, I’ve been posting everyday, using hashtags and Since my feed is full I started liking people’s pictures and commenting and nothing!!! I recently put up a reel and nothing. So what really works? I do know it takes time but without the people I know following me I would have no followers after 2 Weeks. Somethings not right. What am I not seeing?
Social Media can certainly get frustrating, I feel you. If you've been doing everything right as far as the strategies, then all it could be is the content itself is not engaging people. Try switching up the content, as that's something you'll need to be doing constantly. You'll need to figure out what types of content your audience will enjoy. The testing never ends. what if you usually do the follow and unfollow method but stop now and wanna start fesh without starting a new page is it ok bc i have i still gain alot of followers but..........
You can start fresh for sure. You can also manually unfollow everyone you followed (with the intention of gaining a follow back) and force unfollow all the accounts who did follow you back who would never engage. That's a lot of work, so if you'd prefer to start fresh, that's an option too. - C

I have 10 followers, I’ve been posting everyday, using hashtags and Since my feed is full I started liking people’s pictures and commenting and nothing!!! I recently put up a reel and nothing. So what really works? I do know it takes time but without the people I know following me I would have no followers after 2 Weeks. Somethings not right. What am I not seeing?
Social Media can certainly get frustrating, I feel you. If you've been doing everything right as far as the strategies, then all it could be is the content itself is not engaging people. Try switching up the content, as that's something you'll need to be doing constantly. You'll need to figure out what types of content your audience will enjoy. The testing never ends. I was interested on your wealthsimple trade investment and I downloaded already the app and I was about to filled it up every steps of registration but I got stopped where you I asked to put my Social insurance number. So why not you guys could there put another option than a S.I.N ? Bcoz I can't

what if you usually do the follow and unfollow method but stop now and wanna start fesh without starting a new page is it ok bc i have i still gain alot of followers but..........
You can start fresh for sure. You can also manually unfollow everyone you followed (with the intention of gaining a follow back) and force unfollow all the accounts who did follow you back who would never engage. That's a lot of work, so if you'd prefer to start fresh, that's an option too. - C
