- The field shelter for our horse is finaly completed. The frame, siding and roof is all done. As well as the water recuperation and moving of Tyson's (the horse) water.
It is great to tick off another project on our tiny homestead and the next is the composting sheds and the hoophouse.
But we are not forgetting the work on the planning of our Container House which is keeping Ian busy in the evenings with drawing after drawing.
The latest project in creating our Container House Homestead here in the French Pyrenees. Ian & Julie are sharing their experiences as they venture into their new homesteading project as well as embarking on a brand new Shipping Container Home build.
They are future proof "prepping" for their retirement.

Julie, I remember Saskia trying to camp in Tyson's paddock before we arrived....she was so surprised to know you already knew who she was :)
When you say it is cold could you say how cold? Maybe start off by saying the temperature when the sun is up then when it starts to set. Not every time but when you mention it is getting cold an idea of how cold would help. Giving thumbs up on every video I watch even if I don't comment on each
These days it never really drops below zero celsius in the winter. Summer are already hitting 35c and it is only May.
