engines were not the same, there is a slight changes in nm. that is why race edition coz indian manufacturer are not the same with japanese manufacturer. in japanese brand only the looks were just tweak not the engine but the indian manufacturer they really mean business, i am not saying that indian manufacturer are the best but that is what i observed since the motorcycle industry came to philippines. japanese manufacturer knows the weak spot of filipinos even on their cars, they only change cosmetically but the engine is just the same, because we filipinos are so focus on the looks and japanese knows that well.
