For SRW 4, you get the option to fight Shu and the Neo Granzon regardless of your turn count. The low turn count is required if you want to recruit Shu and his followers onto your team.
so basically shu and his granzon is like superboy prime punching the universe. That Neo granzon's ultimate attack there basically destroyed the universe lol.
Another reason Shu really HATES Volkruss, and Gods in general, is that he preyed on his mother (Misaki Shirakawa) when she was at her weakest mental state and caused her to sacrifice Shu in exchange of a chance to return to Surface World, details in a hard-to-find manga released back when Masoukishin SNES was released and was re-released prior to Masoukishin remake on PSP and NDS. Shu loves his mother, still does, but the incident caused him to be wary of women (not saying the G word as it is more similar to Crowe's situation in Z2, as in wary of women but still interact with them normally) and immensely hatred towards Gods and beings that manipulate others; he is cool with a fair deal, both sides getting advantages equally, just not using him one-sidedly like how Zezenan hides the singularity inside Granzon in classic and OG timelines.
Adam Hashiba ..not really.. the system that controlled the riddles that was installed in the Granzon was just called the Mahakala system, under the Kabbalah program.. it was used to control and to boost the output power of the mech.. and it was named also to tell the people that the Granzon has a destroyer system.. specially when transformed to be the Neo Granzon.
Now that's more like it - not just "evolution", but actual context for the history of a character and his machine. She does seem to be this multidisciplinary genius, kind of like SRW's Dr doom, mastering tech and the supernatural to use them together for overwhelming effect. It does feel kinda weird how something new like the Granteed is "suddenly" declared to be as strong or stronger... then again, sooner or later the Valcazard should enter the picture (and I can already guess that W story will intersect with the time manipulation shenanigans of the characters from R and J, and later still with the also-artificial antagonists from V, which i'm sure will be all sort of weird "fun" for the likes of Lamia...). Thanks for helping to make sense of this looong soap opera and the bits that don't always get official translations - between that and the anticipation that the regular SRW crossovers generate for OG events, it can be quite the rabbit hole to dig into...
Do Dis Astranagant next, please. The event in OG confirmed that there is only 1 Dis/Astranagant in SRW multiverse, so I wonder if we will see it in OG timeline in the next games.
Thanks for making these lore videos, Nickioh! I love how the enemy grunts react to Granzon/Neo Granzon in MD too when they attack you, they know it's the real deal. I would really like to see a similar video but about the history of the Astranagant/Dis Astranagant.
Didnt he say at one point in Moon Dwellers that its time for him(Shu) to enhance/upgrade his machine. I think it was around the ending but anyways I expect it to get more broken after his upgrade.
So right now, neither Shu nor Granzon is under controled by Volkuss, right? The way I see in Moon Dwellers, Granzon can transform to Neo Granzon whenever Shu wants. Sorry if I'm incorrect. I'm not good at either Japanese or English.
First appearance of granfzon I think is dai2ji super robots war and again at dai2ji super robot wars G, which is my favourite. Neo grandzon also appear in masokishin 1, SNES title at the time, which was remake during PSP time, together with masoukishin 2, and 3 later. Masoukishin 4 is the final of the series, but only on ps3. One thing that borders me is the timeline, masoukishin 1seemed to be happen during Ps4 dai 2ji super robota war og, but during moon dwellers time, it happened after masoukishin 4
Granzon actually just piece of scrap metal, Shu is the actual God behind SRW series he is a genius who can constantly create, fix and improve Granzon, escape from all Elemental Lord assault and basically ruin all SRW timeline since he can change side whenever he want.
Neo Granzon is my all time favorite mech! Badass, mighty and my god, gravity weapons are always great, the beauty of destruction, clean af because there is nothing left! :D. I wonder if there is anyone out there with his/ her mech that can be his opponent.
They really should at least try to explain why even being super powerful he always loses everytime and why the granzon always de-transforms after every appearance
The only matter you miss Nickioh, is Shu gay or not? He rejet Monica & Safine, but in the secret image in Masokishin 1 , he turns red to see in a bathing suit a Masaki XD
"The Granzon shouldn't be that strong!"
"Of course it is. I improved it myself."
imagine dio brando pilots it.
Axel Abdiel He will yell Kono Dio da!!!!! Every single time he shows up! :D

I love how he's a boss that doesn't lose his stats and OP attacks when he joins you.

very well said...
Trivia: the 'Mahakala' means "Great Black" and was the other name for Shiva the Hindu god of destruction...
Dr. Shirakawa Shu So basically you are saying Neo granzon is Lord SHIVA?
Adam Hashiba ..not really.. the system that controlled the riddles that was installed in the Granzon was just called the Mahakala system, under the Kabbalah program.. it was used to control and to boost the output power of the mech.. and it was named also to tell the people that the Granzon has a destroyer system.. specially when transformed to be the Neo Granzon.
"WORM SMASHER!!"
Funfact.
Worm Smasher inspired Intis' GV series to use "Lazy Laser" which is an attack in the Azure Striker Gunvolt series.
…shoot you’re right, Merak’s an SRW fan
Well even better to use Neo Granzon but we still miss Cybuster possession and Cyfis

He's still one of the strongest for sure.
Well, doesn't matter too much tho. Granzon and Neo-Granzon are always my favorite OG mech anyway.
What is stronger?
@@PAINNN666 Mazinger zero, Sttgl, Genisc Gaogaigar, Getter emperor, Demonbane and a few other
You know your a badass when your theme song overrides the boss theme songs.
It great to so this type if video. Very much appreciated the topic and hope to see more like this style.

That's right, Shu in Masou Kishin 3 revealed he could utilize Neo Granzon using his power alone.
I have wondered for years about this backstory, but do not speak Japanese. Thank you so much for making this!
what happens if shu made granzon for DIO?
This technically massacres white lantern kyle rayner.

This is also in X-Omega.
