Everytime I heard Emma sing as Belle, I had a lot of happy tears roll down my face & I had more tears when the Beast died & Emma said to him: "Of course I came back. I'll never leave you again. did any of you know that the part with Belle on top of the hill in the original film was a tribute to Julie Andrews and The Sound of Music?
It certainly made me think of it - hadn't realized that it was a deliberate reference though
Luke Evans absolutely steals the show. His voice and characteristics suit Gaston's character so much it's unreal. Great film. But even better casting for the live action version. The directors made perfect choices for all characters

I'm french and before I listen to the songs in English, I didn't know that there were French words in the lyrics ! I find it so cute English that speak French ! And also, before I didn't know that the friend of Gaston was also called LeFou in original version! I thought he had a name like "TheCrazy"! And then the little "monsieur" and "mademoiselle" are so cute !
