To answer Lynix's question about glasses: It depends on the reason you need glasses.
As an example, I used to wear glasses as a kid, but my eyes naturally adjusted to the point that I don't need them anymore. This is more common in childhood, sometimes vision problems are caused by irregular development of the eye and glasses are needed to prevent or correct these, ensuring that the eyes develop so as to not cause problems. Some times stuff like eyedrops or lasers are used to correct vision problems. But some conditions requiring glasses are permanent and incurable, and in some cases even glasses won't allow for normal vision, only something close to it.
Yep, I've worn glasses since I was four and I'm now an adult but still wearing glasses. I've never had normal vision so I don't have anything to compare my vision with glasses on to 20/20 but I feel it's always slightly off, even with the perfect prescription. I have astigmatism in both eyes but my left one is slightly worse so I have different prescriptions for both eyes. I will probably wear glasses until I die.

My vision was taribl I had thick glasis but I had eye surgery two years ago and they're so much better now I can see stuff now clearly now

@@adtjuhh2652 Thanks - I have been going on Duolingo to learn it since October 2020, I have pretty much completed all the sections at this point - just a matter of continuing to press their practice button on atleast a daily basis!
I have also started to learn German very recently with Duolingo, despite still being in the very early stages of learning German - I am surprisingly fast at completing the lessons, thanks to the fact as you are aware that both Dutch and German are both Germanic and quite closely related - albeit still with their major differences.
I'd like to explore a good part of Western Europe actually - just slightly unfortunate that brexit happened (Your nation seemed to have actually benefitted quite well from our loss! 😂)

I have glasses and I was blind when I was born. Blindness is curable but after you will have blurry vision. To fix it you need glasses. So technically it *is curable.*
