While the Ancient Copper Dragon is valued the most highly, I cannot tell you how much I've been able to do with the insane card draw from the Ancient Silver Dragon or something like 60 flying tokens on my mono-white tokens deck with Ancient Gold Dragon, I would definitively run those on many decks of those colors
Connecting with Ancient Gold Dragon and rolling an 18 while Mondrak and Ojer Taq were out was one of my more memorable experiences with one of the ancient dragons.
Got wrath'd before I could do anything with them, but it was fun dropping 108 flying tokens onto the field! 😁

I like this set but my first foray back into magic since I was a teen was the original D&D set that came out adventures in forgotten realms. I own the whole set now I think and its giveny me some awesome cards for commander.

nice showing of this set. I've always wanted to see more of the CE boxes opened. That Dragon pull though. Actually, all of them were sweet.
I had an Amazon shipping error that resulted in me getting sent a free box (they told me to keep it) it had two bronze, a foil copper, foil full art brass, and foil silver dragon
I bought some of these at release from Rudy and got HOSED
Man I actually wanted to be a part of this break just to get gates lol!
It's crazy remembering how infrequent the battlebond land pulls can be in this set. Especially after watching shocklands galore in Rav Remastered!
set booster displays were REALLY bad for this because they were so highly priced (only 18 boosters in a display, so HALF of what you'd normally get) with one of the possible rare-slots being a guaranteed legendary card, which neither the dragons not the battlebonds lands were.
BUT... draft boxes and I believe Collecter booster Boxes didn't really have that problem. Draft boosters just had more or less the same number of rares -> less per booster, but a draft booster display had 24 boosters and you STILL had multiple chances of rares in a draft booster AND each draft booster had like 3-6 uncommons and a bunch of commons and there are some pretty decent uncommons in this set.
Wild Magic Surge, Irenicus's Vile Duplication, Patriar's Seal are actially worth a buck or two each plus you can get staples like Swiftfoot boots and Arcane Signet.
Similarly the common slot also actually kind of loaded with Lightning Bolt, Nature's Lore (!!) and Deadly Dispute, the latter of which is also around two bucks in europe.
Draft Boosters already have a really decent minimum EV built in because you're more or less guaranteed like 20 bucks worth of cards just from commons and uncommons which is wild.
And since there are 24 "guaranteed rare slots" in a draft display, you get a decent chance of opening a battlebond land or two. I paid 90€ per box a year ago and you can still get it for that price (in english) in some online-shops. At that price you can't really go all that wrong, especially if you get to organize a draft with it.

The one thing I find that’s tricky about this set is it’s really big. I feel like every time I buy a pack I see new cards unless it’s a shit rare and I get lots of those lol

Thanks for the opening, everyone! Good boxes! Yeah, this set is pretty fun but there are waaaay too many four-drop creatures in the rares/mythics.
The Balrog is pretty nuts too, aside from Karlach. But now the set just seems overpriced compared to before, when it was the other way around.
The robe and elturel surv still look good in my eyes. But Baalor is probably the one that’s very underrated the moment. That card hits like a truck, as they say. Left my opponent crying so I had to let him win😂
I might have Brendan beat. My serialized dry streak slapped me in the face today. We did a four person rav remastered draft today. The person across from me got a serialized. Then the winner got one collector pack and got a serialized from it. I hate my life. I’m gonna go to Olive Garden alone.

We limit how many breaker spots we have so when you do get in, you'll have a better chance at getting in to breaks. They currently still fill pretty quick, so we aren't opening any new spots. Members do drop, so you can grab a spot then if you're quick. We've also started doing member only live streams, you can get in on those as the Support tier. Thanks!
