I really respect Bethenny's work ethic. When she started the Housewives she was living in that tiny apartment with no money to her name. By the time she finished she became mega rich off her "Skinnygirl" company. She did a great job using the show to sell her Brand.
And she was smart with her brand because while the other women were making more money by being on the show, she had her contract to only give her $7000 for season 1 just so she could have all profits from skinnygirl brand to her. The other women had to pay a percentage of what they made by showcasing.
Bethenny most certainly did not keep her cool at all, the louder a person speaks the less intelligent they sound. Oh, and Kelly is anything but stupid, she went to both Trinity College and Columbia. These institutions of higher learning wouldn’t let Bethenny hang coats there much less enroll as a student.
Anne Worth Bethenny built a multi million dollar brand from scratch and heads a successful disaster relief organisation that’s now focusing on the pandemic. Kelly is a real estate agent who thought social distancing meant taking a break from instagram. Where someone went to school is not the be all, end all statement on their intellectual capacity, especially in the US where education is increasingly inaccessible to the less well off. Just because Kelly went to Colombia doesn’t mean she’s better than Bethany. If anything, it’s funny considering that such an esteemed “institution of higher learning” churned out such a monumental moron.
I couldn't get in to RHONYC this season with Bethenny's departure. Her rags to riches storyline combined with her acidic wit and addiction to honesty is what drew me in in the first place
