Hell yes spinoraptor was great but glowing spinoraptor plus indoraptor is the gem of this plus does make me wonder if indominus and scorpius rex is getting this glowing treatment
So, It's confirmed that the Indominus Rex Rex will have Biolumonescence. Nothing is included about the Scorpios Rex, so I don't think the Scorpios Rex will, but that's fine. It's insane to think about, since the Indominus Rex rex can camouflage and glow. Dude's becoming a disco on legs.
Imagine how terrifying it would be. You can see in the corner of your eye that something behind you is getting brighter. You feel hot breath on the top of your head. You turn around, and all you can see is some glowing lights in the air, coalescing into a solid white shape as the Indominus comes into view, and the very last thing you see is an absolutely gaping wide maw stretching open to swallow you whole.
Personally, not a big fan of the hybrids, but i'm happy to see them come back with these glow-ups (literally). Also thank Wu for giving Ankylodocus a proper makeover. That tail better work on carnivores though
@@kimbrolyy Where'd you hear that? Cause the current theory is that they used them in combat with each other. And if it's capable of cracking through Ankylosaur armor (Which we have direct fossil evidence for) then the clubs were strong enough to cripple a reckless predator.
I still hope they give us a "Microceratus Petting Zoo" attraction... The guests still need more ways of enjoying the dinosaurs too, I'd love to see balloon tours and boat tours honestly more than new species at this point.
FRONTIER FIXED THE ANKYLODOCUS YESSS! It also appears that they gave the Stegoceratops shorter brow horns so now the poor animal can finally realistically lift it's head (and no horns clipping through the ground when it's drinking is a huge improvement aswell). As for the Spinoraptor. You can't fix something that is already perfect. Well done Frontier!
I love the nod to the original DLC where these guys appeared. That being the pack is called the Secret Species Pack, and most of these species were first introduced in The Secrets of Dr. Wu DLC from the first game.
There's still one last creature from camp Cretaceous and that's the smilodon so my theory is that the next DLC will be a mammals species and I think the four creatures that will be included are : Smilodon Woolly mammoth Woolly rhino The giant sloth I forgot what you call it

Sure, _technically_ they do that with the Hybrids, but each hybrid is of a Dinosaur. I feel if we were _ever_ going to get a Mammal pack, well, we would have gotten it already.

If we _are_ getting Mammals at any point, it needs to be a full on Expansion, with a narrative plot, not just a species pack. That would also potentially mean _more_ animals than just four.

I am in love with the new design for Ankylodocus. It looks more like a real animal than what it used to be in JWE1. Correct me if I am wrong but the new Ankylodocus have body type looks more Apatosaurus than Diplodocus, I think.
First pack I have no intention of getting, honestly not a fan of hybrids to begin with and wouldn’t really use them, but the audacity of Frontier to make 3/4 of this pack content from the first game even if there’s been some changes to the models and stuff really puts me off wanting to support this kind of pack financially
Funnily enough, it's the bioluminescence that sells this pack for me - after all, if we're making hybrids, might as well go really crazy with it. If they add it to the other hybrids (I-rex & Scorpius joining Indoraptor) that'd be even better. But while the new Ankylodocus is an improvement in every way, there's a perverse part of me that became attached to it specifically for its derpiness. So I'm hoping the original heinous iteration will remain as an alternate skin for the 3 idiots like me who might use it 😄

I feel like if we were going to have to pay for them again, Frontier should have made another expansion that dealt with Hybrids and added a couple more hybrids with them. But that's just me.
I mean, technically yes, technically no, because they're the only species from the previous game that have to be bought again, it's not like they're just the same models, even if they're smaller, they've received slight adjustments, it would be more unfair if they just sold the ones 3 again without changes, but this expansion changes the other hybrids in addition to adding a new one to the game

They did a good job fixing up Ankylodocus, and sticking a sail on Sinoceratops, at least. Missing species drip feed continues. I am semi disappointed there’s no aquatic or flying hybrids, but personally ever since JWE2 got announced I’ve wanted a megalodon, Idrc about what else is added. My favorite dinosaur is already in the game(Stego, and was given amazing skins in a DLC), so everything else is just something I’ll add once or twice and probably forget about.

I think the game would drastically improve if they would ad way more attractions, food stalls and decorations etc instead of more dinosaurs. Yes more dinosaurs is better than less. But the game has a shortage of other things than dinosaurs. Repeating the same decorations over and over again get's old. Maybe ad some other rides and attractions to mix things up a bit. Maybe a dino themed bumper cars ride for the kids, a balloon stall, a Ferris wheel, just general theme park stuff and decorations.

I think this DLC pretty much kills any chance at getting the Smilodon, and just confirms what I've heard: They're not really going to touch post K/T animals.

The DLC we'll have four extinct mammals the ones I think that could be included are the following: 1. Smilodon 2. Woolly mammoth 3. As far as I am concerned, the moment Frontier started adding the missing Camp Cretaceous Dinosaurs to the game through other DLC packs, that killed any chance at the Smilodon entering the game. The only hope for that animal was a third Camp Cretaceous Pack, and with it being the only missing animal from Camp Cretaceous, that makes it even more likely it won't be added. P.S. I never was a big fan of these hybrids the first time around. I feel like out of all the hybrids they could've made, the ones we got were kinda safe and dull. This was their chance to go crazy with creativity and instead we got pretty normal looking dinos. And now we have to pay for them *again.* I don't understand how this DLC took this long to make when most of it is recycled content from the previous game. I kinda like Spinoceratops though...
To be fair only one of them is technically a new hybrid for the jwe games and I use technically given its the only other unique hybrid from camp cretaceous also if they continue with more dlc after this one please just add megalodon not that much bigger then the last fish they added plus they will get another creature to chew on the great white shark feeder
I don't know. I think this might be the only DLC I skip out on. I got the SoDW DLC in the first game for Troodon, Olorotitan and the two maps. I used the hybrids in the story for the DLC and then never again. Very happy for everyone who enjoys these critters, they're just not my thing.
@@gillegan7189 it was just an example because they're two cool combinations. Even so, a tylosaurus + liopleurodon would've looked pretty cool- almost like a dragon given their in-game designs. Or ichthyosaurus + elasmosaurus. The long neck would've been interesting to play with, not to mention the fish-like appearance of both creatures. Point is there's a lot they could've done without reusing things from the first game

Listen I’ve bought all the other packs imma buy this one too. I’ve been watching and waiting for this for awhile and I’m sure we all have. The fact the made them bio on top chefs kiss. His might be our last pack from frontier but then again for how active we are it’s possible they may not be done. I just wish we were able to download other players parks and fill them with Dino’s to our likings. There’s a lot of parks I would’ve downloaded of yours Evo. The work you put in is outstanding. You’ve def inspired a few designs for myself with tweaks of my own.

I AM SO HYPED FOR THIS PACK!!!!! my only reservation is that Spinoraptor keeps it's scream and it's attack animation from the first game as well as gaining new kills namely on large herbivores and carnivores
I'm glad I predicted it being Hybrids. I know money is tight for a lot of people, and agree they should have added the returning hybrids for free, but 8 USD isn't crazy. A lot of people say they're broke but spend $10-$12 on a coffee every day, $200-$240 a month and still complain about being broke or even the cost of this DLC.
I can't help but feel like we should have just had the hybrids in the base game, and then had Sino with Camp Cretaceous dinosaurs, and then the flier pack + update now.
Really hope this isn’t the last DLC… I understand the financial situation everyone’s in also, but I really, really hope they don’t entirely cut out the big free updates going forward. Flying reptile walking animations, river cruise and more attractions, more lagoon and aviary decorations, adding more water plants and swamp biome assets… there are so many things I really feel the base game still needs.
Reselling what we've already bought. I called they'd do this after Huayango and here it is. The JWE1 hybrids should have been part of the free update. Full stop. This is horrible.
Personally I love the hybrids, they have lore within the series so I am more than happy to see a DLC pack to add more. For me this will be an instant buy, though I kinda wish there would be flyers and marine too. I mean I can understand them only sticking with ones from lore, but I wouldn't have any issue with some nice unique ones either. I have to be honest though I am disappointed they won't do babies. The baby spinoceratops is so cute it would have been nice to have, but no one would have expected them since we know frontiers thoughts on babies.
I swear I've never been so happy to see Spinoraptor back, it's such an amazing design with even more amazing sounds, the JWE2 Devs know their fanbase so well!
About the pricing thing, i’m struggling to understand why you’re surprised. I’m pretty sure the Biosyn expansion and the Malta expansion were supposed to come with the game originally and they were like $20 each.
If the Anklydocus doesn’t use its tail club to fight, I am not buying this DLC! What is the absolute point of including it in the game if it has no purpose? I want it to shatter the ribs of Indominus Rex to pieces!
This is worth it. I don’t care what you people think this adds more than the original dlc. What new stuff were getting: -A new species(Spinoceratops) -Ankylodocus Remodel -Lux skins for every hybrid (Besides Scorpius Rex). It seems worth my money in my opinion.

My biggest "gripe" with this pack is that it costs the same has previous packs and the free update basically adds nothing new. Really feels like a "finish line, rounding loose ends dlc" and Frontier isn't being transparent about it. Also that it's basicaly reintroducing several dinos that were already in the previous game, and that the lux skins + new animations alone don't justify the same price has a regular species pack. Frontier simply milking this game for a last time before abandoning it doesn't sit right with me...
The bright colors and hybrids make me think this is also Chaos Effect themed. Also, since there are already variant models for some species in game, I could see them adding the JWE versions of the Stegoceratops and Ankylodocus in as options for people who liked them
One thing I must note is that Indoraptor looks different to it's usual look. It seems to have a bit of a different pattern than normal, and generally look slightly off. I also think Ankylodocus might have 2 variants for the fans of the OG model. Spinoceratops has one key difference from all of the other depictions of it in JW games: It's head is WAY shorter. Everyone else made it's head longer than usual with an also bigger mouth, to show the spinosaurus DNA in other ways than just the sail. Kinda sad about it, because it looked wau cooler with the long head.
Looking forward to getting this pack as I have been planning a hybrid only park but it didn't feel like a good plan with only three hybrids. Now, I can start putting in the ground work for this build idea. Just gotta decide on a map, lol. Love the video, can't wait to see more.

It does look more Apatosaurus, but I chalk it up to the Ankylosaurus genes shortening the neck and tail and making it chubbier.

@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrimI disagree I think there's still a chance that the smilodon will come in the future what kind of DLC the animal going to be put in is up for debate in my opinion based on the past DLC that features the transportation animals I think there is a possibility that the next DLC could be mammal species yes frontier has made it clear that they're only bringing dinosaurs, marine reptiles, and flying reptiles into the game but for the smilodon they could make an exception. The DLC we'll have four extinct mammals the ones I think that could be included are the following:
1. Smilodon
2. Woolly mammoth
3. Originally I suggest The Woolly rhino but there are other extinct rhinoceros the frontier could use.
4. That giant sloth I forgot what you call it

As far as I am concerned, the moment Frontier started adding the missing Camp Cretaceous Dinosaurs to the game through other DLC packs, that killed any chance at the Smilodon entering the game.
The only hope for that animal was a third Camp Cretaceous Pack, and with it being the only missing animal from Camp Cretaceous, that makes it even more likely it won't be added.

I never was a big fan of these hybrids the first time around. I feel like out of all the hybrids they could've made, the ones we got were kinda safe and dull. This was their chance to go crazy with creativity and instead we got pretty normal looking dinos. And now we have to pay for them *again.* I don't understand how this DLC took this long to make when most of it is recycled content from the previous game.

To be fair only one of them is technically a new hybrid for the jwe games and I use technically given its the only other unique hybrid from camp cretaceous also if they continue with more dlc after this one please just add megalodon not that much bigger then the last fish they added plus they will get another creature to chew on the great white shark feeder

I got the SoDW DLC in the first game for Troodon, Olorotitan and the two maps. I used the hybrids in the story for the DLC and then never again.
Very happy for everyone who enjoys these critters, they're just not my thing.
Really wish we got at least one aquatic or flyer hybrid.. an armored mosasaurus + dunkle woulda been so cool...

Hybrids of stuff like dunk wont happen because dunk is already a dlc animal. You would need both dlcs to have it.
@@gillegan7189 it was just an example because they're two cool combinations. Even so, a tylosaurus + liopleurodon would've looked pretty cool- almost like a dragon given their in-game designs. Or ichthyosaurus + elasmosaurus. The long neck would've been interesting to play with, not to mention the fish-like appearance of both creatures. Point is there's a lot they could've done without reusing things from the first game

Listen I’ve bought all the other packs imma buy this one too. I’ve been watching and waiting for this for awhile and I’m sure we all have. The fact the made them bio on top chefs kiss. His might be our last pack from frontier but then again for how active we are it’s possible they may not be done. I just wish we were able to download other players parks and fill them with Dino’s to our likings. There’s a lot of parks I would’ve downloaded of yours Evo. The work you put in is outstanding. You’ve def inspired a few designs for myself with tweaks of my own.

I'm glad I predicted it being Hybrids. I know money is tight for a lot of people, and agree they should have added the returning hybrids for free, but 8 USD isn't crazy. A lot of people say they're broke but spend $10-$12 on a coffee every day, $200-$240 a month and still complain about being broke or even the cost of this DLC.

Really hope this isn’t the last DLC… I understand the financial situation everyone’s in also, but I really, really hope they don’t entirely cut out the big free updates going forward. Flying reptile walking animations, river cruise and more attractions, more lagoon and aviary decorations, adding more water plants and swamp biome assets… there are so many things I really feel the base game still needs.

Personally I love the hybrids, they have lore within the series so I am more than happy to see a DLC pack to add more. For me this will be an instant buy, though I kinda wish there would be flyers and marine too. I mean I can understand them only sticking with ones from lore, but I wouldn't have any issue with some nice unique ones either.
I have to be honest though I am disappointed they won't do babies. The baby spinoceratops is so cute it would have been nice to have, but no one would have expected them since we know frontiers thoughts on babies.
I swear I've never been so happy to see Spinoraptor back, it's such an amazing design with even more amazing sounds, the JWE2 Devs know their fanbase so well!

About the pricing thing, i’m struggling to understand why you’re surprised. I’m pretty sure the Biosyn expansion and the Malta expansion were supposed to come with the game originally and they were like $20 each.

My biggest "gripe" with this pack is that it costs the same has previous packs and the free update basically adds nothing new. Really feels like a "finish line, rounding loose ends dlc" and Frontier isn't being transparent about it. Also that it's basicaly reintroducing several dinos that were already in the previous game, and that the lux skins + new animations alone don't justify the same price has a regular species pack. Frontier simply milking this game for a last time before abandoning it doesn't sit right with me...

i for one welcome the return of our Spinoraptor overloads and they're new Glow Sticks lifestyle.
One thing I must note is that Indoraptor looks different to it's usual look. It seems to have a bit of a different pattern than normal, and generally look slightly off.
I also think Ankylodocus might have 2 variants for the fans of the OG model.
Spinoceratops has one key difference from all of the other depictions of it in JW games: It's head is WAY shorter. Everyone else made it's head longer than usual with an also bigger mouth, to show the spinosaurus DNA in other ways than just the sail. Kinda sad about it, because it looked wau cooler with the long head.
This is gonna get me back into the game after like a year lol. I’m so glad we finally have the Evo1 roster complete in this game
Looking forward to getting this pack as I have been planning a hybrid only park but it didn't feel like a good plan with only three hybrids. Now, I can start putting in the ground work for this build idea. Just gotta decide on a map, lol. Love the video, can't wait to see more.
