About the “Explosive Best Of bond” CD, bond is an English string quartet that plays “classical crossover” and synth pop music. They’re often typeset as bond (with a lowercase b) in deference to the owners of the James Bond trademark

I think another reason the first video (and hopefully this one) did so well is because it's got a bit of '10 Reviews in 10 Minutes' angle to it, where we not only get the "Ooh I wonder what's next!" effect, but we viewers also get a bit of the old Ashens humor in rapidfire.

Usually Ireland is the much more strict one with many British 15+ movies being 18+ in Ireland. However I would definitely say they are still quite a bit stricter, there is definitely nothing where they are less strict on. The Japanese version of the grudge is called 'Ju-on' and it's way better. Watch a version with no subtitles. You'll have no f-ing idea what in the blazes is going on, but you'll be scared non the less!
Haven't seen the american remake, but yes, Ju-On is probably the best horror movie I've seen. Ringu > The Ring as well of course. The ring is an okay remake, but I really don't like how they went from "Ghost girl is evil because actual reasons" to "Evil ghost girl is evil because she's evil".
Hollywood has to dumb everything down so Joe Average can understand it. I hope there's never a Hollywood remake of something like The Incident. I'm sure they'd tack on something ultra stupid to explain what's going on.
Ashens, I have to give you credit for being one of the only youtubers I have watched for the last few years that still uploads the same level quality content to this day. Keep it up.
Soft Bomb was a great album! The Chills are an indie rock band from the 80s and 90s - part of what’s called the Dunedin Sound, of Dunedin, New Zealand. So funny it ended up in one of those boxes, lol!
As an American I know one The Streets song and it's Fit But You Know It, but only because it was on the FIFA 2005 soundtrack. That said, the song is awesome. Please send me that DVD thanks.
i from new zealand and i know the streets music i really like mike skinners music fit but you know it never went to church heaven for the weather dry your eyes mate blinded by the lights going through hell when you wasn't famous everything is borrowed don't mug yourself really good songs
I'm Australian and by random decision I borrowed their A Grand Don't Come for Free album from a library. It's actually a really cool concept album with a flowing story. The way it's written and the almost spoken-word but still catchy vocal delivery really places an image in your head of what's going on. Underrated album.
That double sided DVD with Witchcraft and Shawshank Redemption is part of a big set of this DVD bundle you would get with DVD players and stuff. I remember my parents bought a TV (a big fat one that was attached to the stand), DVD player and a sound system and they got this big box full of movies. Each dvd case would have 4 movies and I swear there was around 40-50 dvd cases. I remember Carry on Doctor (my favourite growing up), Witchcraft, Shutter, I know what you did last summer, rocky... it was just big variety of genres. I’ve still got a few somewhere.
We need follow up video(s) for these mega boxes where Stu finds out what all the mystery discs are and has the inevitable paroxysm over how much of a waste of time it was :D FWIW, the "R" I think is Republica, and the "M" is Maroon 5. No idea what the J was.
...or a follow up when it turns out some of those sampler music CDs turn out the be super rare and sought-after (and thus eminently resealable for a profit) and he binned them?
I found out about Spitalfield through one of those samplers. They became one of my all-time favorite bands and I became acquainted with the lead singer, Mark Rose, who's a pretty cool guy.
I can understand why Stewart thought this video idea was stupid at first. The reason this works so well is because it’s literally a loot box. One you don’t have to pay for as a viewer. You experience the surprise along with him and his witty comments help make you laugh even more. Basically, Ashens payed for a loot box and flaunted it around on a stick for 30 minutes.
The sudden shriek of British despair that Ashen makes when Fred rears his ugly head is 10/10.

"Yes, that's him."
is it me or does the packaging looks like Cartoon Network? also JE means Jagged edge, an R&B group, O-town is a boyband. Victory records is a rock band label. D4 is a Rock band. Timbaland Shock value (one of the best albums ever made by him), the R Cd is a Robyn album. the ZYX CD is an Electronic Dance Music Label. The M CD is maroon 5, the J CD is Jon B. an R&B Artist. the other CDs were just Dance and Pop CDs. Yabbadabbadooooo!!!! is a variety of Mix CDs with flinstones on the cover.
bond (about 5:50 in) is a 4 piece British/Australian female string quartet, they do classic and synth music a bit like Vanessa Mae does sometimes. They use "bond" lower case to avoid any issues with Bond film music
I hope you and the other 7 fans enjoy them x
The Japanese version of the grudge is called 'Ju-on' and it's way better. Watch a version with no subtitles. You'll have no f-ing idea what in the blazes is going on, but you'll be scared non the less!
go away For true Weeaboos.
I'm sure they'd tack on something ultra stupid to explain what's going on.
go away Plenty of us know the language tbqhwyf
+Golden Gear
The one with subs is fine...
A much better value box than the first one. :)
These are perfect to watch while I'm washing dishes or cooking because I can listen but don't need to look. I have enjoyed them greatly
This gave me the idea of giving Fred the Movie to someone for Christmas.
As an American I know one The Streets song and it's Fit But You Know It, but only because it was on the FIFA 2005 soundtrack. That said, the song is awesome. Please send me that DVD thanks.
Game Fiction I'm from Germany and I know the song because it is in a tv commercial that's running all the time atm...
Thats great but you’ll need a Region -Free or PAL DVD player to play it.
i from new zealand and i know the streets music i really like mike skinners music
fit but you know it
never went to church
heaven for the weather
dry your eyes mate

everything is borrowed

really good songs
I'm Australian and by random decision I borrowed their A Grand Don't Come for Free album from a library. It's actually a really cool concept album with a flowing story. The way it's written and the almost spoken-word but still catchy vocal delivery really places an image in your head of what's going on. Underrated album.
Can't believe you tossed The smith's CD
Easy they're horrible.
Hannah Ruble it wasn't the smiths, he was taking the piss
Serpico's Beard While I am a huge Smiths fan, I see where the absolute haters are coming from. I get it, Morrissey whines.
Ian Scotto Rosano Understandable but Johnny Marr's guitar playing is too good to miss out on
Serpico's Beard DON'T TALK TRASH ABOUT MORRISSEY AND JOHNNY MARR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love his reaction to the Fred DVD XD
That double sided DVD with Witchcraft and Shawshank Redemption is part of a big set of this DVD bundle you would get with DVD players and stuff.
I remember my parents bought a TV (a big fat one that was attached to the stand), DVD player and a sound system and they got this big box full of movies. Each dvd case would have 4 movies and I swear there was around 40-50 dvd cases. I remember Carry on Doctor (my favourite growing up), Witchcraft, Shutter, I know what you did last summer, rocky... it was just big variety of genres. I’ve still got a few somewhere.
I like to watch videos like this because it can satiate my gambling addiction without having to pay for loot boxes.
12:11 That disc has been written over. I just did some research.
17:45 The moment we came for
I seriously could watch one of these every day!!!! I have no idea why!
He tossed The Doors and kept Shakira. Really?
Dark times indeed :(
*LEFTFIELD!*
Totally forgot about them 😱 I'm off listening to "Dusted", "Afrika Shox" and "Phat Planet".
Frank Sinatra is the name you were looking for.
The fact he didn't get that really bothered me.
that was fun. we had fun today.
"Damage Ghetto Romance... fair enough." *tosses CD* LMFAOOOO that killed me 😂
The one that 'looked like a grill' was Republica's first album, and one I loved in high school!
We need follow up video(s) for these mega boxes where Stu finds out what all the mystery discs are and has the inevitable paroxysm over how much of a waste of time it was :D
FWIW, the "R" I think is Republica, and the "M" is Maroon 5. No idea what the J was.
The CD with the "g" on it stands for, Garth Brooks.
...or a follow up when it turns out some of those sampler music CDs turn out the be super rare and sought-after (and thus eminently resealable for a profit) and he binned them?
Those victory records cds samplers are rare and super hard to find great bands
I found out about Spitalfield through one of those samplers. They became one of my all-time favorite bands and I became acquainted with the lead singer, Mark Rose, who's a pretty cool guy.
Martyr AD on Ashens...didn't see that coming.
Chris S [Jobber-NOTs] Watch Dogs brought me to Spitalfield amd Victorian Halls.
The fact that you liked stardust makes me respect you highly good sir.
Oh hell yeah, I was happy to see he didn't chuck it.
Dragoseye Stardust is quite good, and I have it on DVD.
17:00 I believe is the brilliant "Republica" album with stonkingly great songs like "Ready to Go" and "Drop Dead Gorgeous"
