He came down during the last show I saw, which was the next date after this one here in Buffalo. I reached right out and touched his shoulder armor, I fully expected to get punched for doing that but he lingered for a minute and moved on. I love Grodius, dude he has breathed new life into Gwar. Dave would be proud. I am convinced of that.
@arkhamsrazor7075 haha I did the same thing when he came down infront of the barricade. Did it again in Albany two weeks ago and actually got to touch the chest/back plate of his armor
@@mikewaldrop17 nice dude. That last show was my first since Beyond Hell with Oderus. It was 17 years between my last Gwar show and that one. There was a world of difference but it honestly just feels like a new era of Gwar, not a reboot. I had to see it with my own eyes. They did not disappoint, they definitely still got it. And I respect tf out of Bishop as a musician anyway, I was super happy when I realized he was Blothar.
@arkhamsrazor7075 that was my 9th gwar show, unfortunately never got to see them with Oderus. Can't wait to hit double digit shows next year, gonna be a big one
Just saw them at Knotfest a few days ago, managed to get barricade. Absolutely phenomenal, if you get a chance to see them live, you should absolutely go
I was hanging out with a group of canadians outside betweens sets. The dude had a gwar sleeve. If anyone in that group sees this, shoot me a message. You guys were cool as hell. I wanna talk more music
I saw them on the 1rst leg of this tour & it had a different setlist. They always play a few of the hits every time (berserker mode, sick of you, immortal corrupter, ect), but they do change up the rest a little. Same skits per tour, but done slightly differently.
It was my first time seeing or hearing them actually so everything was new for me. I can see running a set setlist for a tour with everything they do, but you need to throw in some stuff that makes every tour different enough to reward the fans that come back.
I've been going to as many shows as i can this yr. Trying to see any band that i like within a 3-4 hour ride. I've seen gwar 3 times so far, with another 2 lined up. The bridge city sinners & amigo the devil come in 2nd with 2 shows each. Most of gwar is pushing 60 & they tour nonstop. They're allowed to be a littlle off here & there.
I hear that, I am 47 and remember seeing them when I was in Middle and High School. Always my favorite band forever! Rest in Metal Metal Land Corey and Dave\m/ Glad to see X-Cops doing New material though! Long Live Pete Lee! PAN @BadVideosOfGoodBands
Thank you for record8ng this full set my man. Went by myself but get to show my buddies the full experience
@@louisbowles726 ya. I went by myself too. Couldn’t miss it
Thank you! At around 2:40 you can see Grodius coming up and shaking my hand from the stage 🥲

Saw them in Seattle last week. First time for me. They ruled!!!

Seeing these guys down here in ATL soon. I'm stoked
Well worth seeing in person. Highly reccomend the barricade if possible

THIS WAS MY THIRD TIME GOING AND ITS BETTER EVERYTIME!!! THAT WAS ME CROWD SURFING AT 1:11:34 !
Fuck this place! Amazing
Do they play the same set for the whole tour? They're playing TX in Nov and wonder if every show is the same.
I think so, check the tour on setlist.fm closer to the show to see if anything's changed.

Thanks, I can't wait! Gonna see them twice!!
Soo I love gwar but the setlist is almost the exact same as the last 7 times I've seen them..... please 🙏 🙏 change it up

Where was this?

My uncle was at this exact one 🎉

I love Gwar but am I the only one who thinks this performance is very sloppy and feels extremely off?

It was also the opening night of the tour to be fair, gotta expect some bugs being worked out

I agree, the stage show also isn't what it used to be...but hey its still fun.
I was thinking this seems like a show from an alternate universe, It’s just so odd and doesn’t seem right lol
