I heard the rumblings and at one point I had all the guys on an Excel spreadsheet and outside of 1 guy I wasn’t really wow’d. I know the girls are amazing, but if the program is tainted it’s not obvious to me (maybe I didn’t go back far enough in my data). We will definitely be watching to see how it pans out.
This athlete is waayyy under 18 so nobody will know the name. I agree that both parents and coaches need to be held accountable without damaging the kids. The coach will probably be let go because this is now two kids in two years. I don’t think it’s peer pressure. The athlete has been too good for too long with no plateau. Don’t expunge the results publicly or punish the relays. Quietly sweep it under the rug and protect the athletes by testing them. Adults should face charges if the substances are illegal within the US and deemed harmful.
