What do dj’s do? I like the style of music, but I’m trying to figure out what he’s doing with the buttons. From what I can tell the musics been premade and prerecorded, and none of the knobs or buttons he’s pretending to use do anything?

DJs mix tracks. They add some effects and samples to get better results. The thing is djing with psytrance is not the same as other genres. It is not so easy and common to do many tricks. Thats why not much to do with psy tracks. They have too many kicks and basses which make hard to mix.
