How unbelievably generous of that singer/stand up comedian (and the entire band, actually) to share the spotlight with that young boy. The whole band did their best to make him stand out- the chance of a lifetime, probably, for that teen. From the bass player loaning him a strap. to the guitarist helping coordinate with him, to the singer offering up his band in case the kid got nervous and "sucked", seriously- how very generous!! And so cool to hear a foreign band rock!!

They just helped that kid break past his stage fright and embrace playing the bass. We just watched a pivotal moment in someone's life.

I love the vibe. The vocalist is such a good person. First letting the young bass player to start the song, that gives you confidence if done right. That kid will remember this moment forever. Then the song, such a nice song. It started as a joke but then turn to be an encouraging song. You live great, open up your heart and let it all out. Damn that's so sweet

Fun fact, Koreans age differently. It is said when they were born, they are already a year old. So when the boy said he was 15, internationally, he is in fact 14 or 13 years old.
This is one of the most purest & coolest things I've ever seen. The song turns out really great & the audience even sing along. The singer's lyrics especially are very encouraging, giving confidence & hope to not only the bass kid, but also to the audience. It's great seeing people enjoying what they do. Hope that bass kid will achieve his dreams & this band will continue doing what they do, cheering & inspiring others.

This is amazing! I love how non-judgmental and accepting this whole crowd of strangers is of this young man on the bass. Good for him! And he wasn't half bad either!Personally I play the electric guitar, so believe me when I say I know just how scary it can be playing even in front of a relatively small crowd, especially one full of strangers, as counter-intuitive as that may sound...you know, because they're strangers, probably never gonna see any of them again. But I live in America and I swear, I feel like there is seriously something wrong with a lot of people in my country. Too many hyper-judgmental, overly-critical jerks with egos the size of Texas yet fragile like glass, take it as an insult or something feeling like they either gotta 1-up you or otherwise knock you down a peg or something because they don't like to see somebody else better than them at something, man I WISH something this cool would happen in my city!...but nope, just street drugs and homeless people everywhere you look. My city = much worse off than this city. Stay beautiful people👍

Awesome kid, awesome band…..I really enjoyed this, this reminds me of how I miss the music I grew up with, people playing their instruments everywhere while others were dancing their hearts out in the streets, singing and just having fun enjoying themselves with the music. This is what’s really important, instead of all the negative and egotistical innuendos being tossed around these day. The music is uplifting and the lead singer is quite generous. What he did is very encouraging and inspirational to the kid. Very good.
This singer truly know how to ‘work a crowd’. Be and entertainer first, and a musician second. If people simply wanted to hear music, they could just turn the radio on. People leave their houses to be entertained. If you ever want to play in a band, and be successful, never forget that.
That piece of advice was given to me by a musician, that I really looked up to, when I was young. I have preached this advice to every band I’ve been in, and now I’m preaching it here for young, aspiring musicians.
People won’t remember the one or two notes you flubbed. They won’t even remember that blazing solo you nailed. They will, however, remember the great time they had, and want to see more, if you entertain them. Tell a quick joke or two. Interact with the crowd. Laugh at your own mistakes. Find a way to stand out from other bands. One drummer I played with, had a brother who worked for Pringles. (The potato chip company.) He would always bring little cans of Pringles to our gigs. Our singer would toss them out to the audience. People loved that gimmick. They may not have remembered our band’s name, but they always remembered the band who ‘tossed Pringles to the crowd’. Most of all, just have a great time. When you’re having a great time, the audience will, as well. Don’t wait for their feedback, either. YOU are the one who sets the tone of the gig.
This is why singers are often called ‘frontmen’. They are the interface between your band and the crowd. A lot of people can sing, but the few who can be true frontmen, are solid gold for your band. Sometimes, your crowd just isn’t ‘on’. A good frontman can flip their switch, and make the gig more enjoyable, for everyone.

Well, I don't agree. Showman is showman, but good singer and vocalist don't have to be showman. He just can sing and it's ok. I go out of home to watch him and support him, anyway. It's nice, when it's combined in one, but I'm ok just with good vocalist and band. It's not obligatory. So I am for sure, be a good musican at first place, and when you are good enough, try to entertain. Not opposite.

지금 새벽 3시에 이영상을 보게 되었는데 이렇게 오래된 영상속에서도 왜 사람들이 아직도 듣고 댓글이 달리고 좋아요를 눌르는지 알거같네요..
정말 가사중에 마음에 와닿는 구절이 있는데 '사람들은 너가 잘하는지 궁금하지 않아 얼마나 잘 노는지 그게 제일 중요하지' 라고 한 것처럼 저도 음악을 지금 하고 있는 사람으로써 내가 음악을 하면서 이 가사의 말 처럼 잘하는것도 중요하지만 정말 내가 먼저 음악을 즐기고 느끼는 것이 중요하다는 것을 알게 해주셔서 너무 감사드려요...

This is awesome! Kid can play bass pretty good, guy can sing, band is good. Life is being enjoyed. Best thing about it, " We don't care if you're any good, as long as you're enjoying it!" Gonna take that as my new motto.
