Thank you for posting location info so we have a better understanding! 7b here so I love watching your videos because I benefit from almost all of your tips and tricks! Your flow/transitions on edits have improved! Idea: Make a downloadable pdf of your “step labels” for purchase for extra income stream? Maybe leave the flower name and info blank in the center so people can print, laminate and hand write that part with crayon so it can be changed as seasons change? Just an idear! lol
It’s always tricky and sometimes we over think and having someone who is not as close to what we do is really helpful. Great video. Thank you so much for sharing 🥹🙏🏻 with us. Only getting things done is already challenging, also sharing on video can make it harder. Sending love from here 😘🥰
Hi Jessie. First of all, so glad baby girl is making progress -- been lifting you all up in prayer. For the bouquet bar, did I miss the part where you talked about how customers took their flowers home -- were they wrapped, put in a cup with water or what? Thanks for the great nitty gritty business stuff.
Hi! I wrapped the bouquets in kraft paper with a business card. No water. I had some customers who traveled from over an hour away proactively bring their own vase!
Thank you-( insert your name here because KRAP! I forgot it) for sharing your knowledge, expertise and wisdom so generously with us budding flower "farmers". You are precious.
OMG I understand! We have been in the 100s all week here in Texas! 😫 😅 Love the video. Hydration, hydration, hydration! The lilies are lovely and the bells of Ireland look amazing! Love them. Everything else looks amazing too 😂
Lots of water, sunglasses, and hats 😂! Since I am an only small container gardener, I move around when the sun does NOT! 😂 I will eventually send you pics of my "containers/ vertical/ traveling" garden. Love the bouquet bar idea. It works for me in my situation. Thanks for ideas and advice! P.S. I hate when my hubby has a great idea during my planning process 😁🙄😁😂
I understand how you would want to keep it at $20.00 or $25.00 bouquets. Personally if I went to a bar bouquet, I would like the option of per stem from a bucket (with buckets having different prices) and be able to make several bud vases or one huge bouquet. Nope I have not hosted one myself, it's next year's plan when my Ranunculus and anemones are blooming. I really like all your breakdowns.
Great points. I toyed with the idea of having a per stem price and decided against it because I knew I wouldn't have more than 15-20 people show up and didn't want people having the option to spend $10 if that makes sense. I found that those who wanted a bigger bouquet made 2 $20 bouquets. I think if I had a bigger space with more traffic, I would definitely consider a per stem pricing structure!
@@bareflowerfarm I agree. I had a 8 person attend mine, charged $25 to attend. And that was $200. Once you get charged and bring any drinks. I needed up making about 145.00. I had allot of waste. But I was able to sell some that went home. But the travel was hard on them. I advertised for two weeks. It really was fun, but it was not as successful as I had dreamed. I am glad I tried it though. I hope your event is so awesome!
Im curious, how did you manage to keep the place, the floor so clean and not dripp water on it? When people make bouquets, or better said, when i make bouquets 😄i make a mess .
Hmm, i would say that there was a bit of pollen on the floor but overall, it didn't feel like there was excessive water lol! The shop owner was awesome and helped clean up after!
I think it was a timing thing. People have a number of conflicting priorities this time of year. Everyone thinks of tulips as the first sign of spring. I don’t think Lillie’s have the same wide appeal as tulips.
100% to this! It was also graduation weekend! I also agree- way more people love tulips than honestly most other flowers. That was a huge surprise to me!
lol you mean that stupid deer fence gate? Omg it was so annoying bc we couldn’t get it square due to the incorrect setup instructions so we let it be! And do you mean advertising for the bouquet bar on TH-cam? If so, the TH-cam is for fellow flower farmers and not local customers. Most of my customers don’t know i have a TH-cam!

Aww thank you for this.
Thanks also for the idea! I'd be more than happy to share my Canva template if that's even a thing in Canva :)
Another excellent video. Love from Ireland as always ❤
Aww thank you for the love! 💜

For sure, it helps to have a partner to bounce off ideas. Thanks always for the kind words, Crane :)

Omg! You guys have it so hard down there, it’s nearly impossible to grow anything at this time. Hopefully you are able to stay cool!!

We are doing our first flower bar later this year, great tips!
Glad this could be helpful!

But you didn't advertise here on your channel? Appreciate you. But that asymmetrical door is distracting 😂

@@bareflowerfarm stupid deer 🤣. Would a sale open to YT be problematic? Perhaps too many people?
I will take your 90 degree days and raise you to a week of 110 degree days. Central California
I know it can be alot worse!! Sorry that it's even hotter for you!
