This looks SO fun to me. I started riding when I was four years old, but I quit around 8. My sister got bucked off and it scared me since I was younger. But now I REALLY want to ride/take care of horses again. I am doing horse camp with my best friend next week so I'm SUPER excited. But it looks so fun to take care of them :(( Also those barns are gorgeous

I actually do horse lessons but because it's coronavirus now I haven't watched this because I have started watch it because I love watching your videos and I love watching your barn tools like barn things in the morning but yeah so I loved it so yeah it's really I do horse riding but it's really hard because I don't do really like hard stuff because it's like I do do oh yeah I do like I do like him like I do drop holes I do do I don't need jumping yet because I haven't started cos I'm 27 and never phone but when I get old I will be jumping so yeah bye fan I'm your favourite friend

If you are questioning at anytime about this, do what you feel is right. I'm not one to force people into things, but from how your tone is about this, I think (and its a really big I THINK) that you should quit, if it's not something you enjoy, or if you aren't feeling safe, don't be afraid to leave. Obviously, this is your choice, so we don't have much say, but i'm sure there's others that have been with you for awhile, or even new viewers that care about your happiness, and what is right for you. ❤

I think you should still stay but it depends if you get good money for tour hard work so I think you should stay and if you don’t like what they pay you you should ask them I was wondering if I could get a little bit more money because I feel like we are doing a lot here but I don’t get a lot of money so yea what ever you want. @@SugarRoseStudios dont say that as long as you save your money and you get all of your chores done and stuff and you behave and a huge part of being able to get a horse is you have to take care of the animals you have and prove to them you can handle one also going to a horse farm will also prove to them you can handle one just keep the last bit of faith I cry all the time because I cant get a horse but I know as long as I get good grades and am good and also keep helping our friends horses they will soon let me get one also thanks for texting back

@@kateriley9073 omg, I’m applying for a job at a barn, which includes like cleaning the stalls and paddocks , feeding, & cleaning water. I’ve only had a few experiences with horses, (I went so 1 week summer camp, where we would feed and ride the horses). Do you think that is enough experience? Or do you have to be VERY knowledgeable to do this job?
@@daniellafrias5667 it all comes down to you, whether you feel comfortable around horses and that you enjoy spending time around them! it is pretty labour intensive, but if you love the animals you won't even notice. i'm sure you'll be great, the knowledge will come with time x
@@kateriley9073 I’ve wanted to work at one for 7 years, I went to collage and worked with them there but I only got a diploma and I lost motivation lol, but I really want to start again. Do you know what qualifications you need to work in one?
@@Lily083 That depends on what type of barn you want to work at. Proper top level competition barns will definitely look for experience, but most smaller lesson barns, at least in my experience, have just wanted people comfortable with handling horses and willing to put in the time. This is for taking care of the horses, not as an instructor which does require qualifications.

I have a job at a riding school where i work a weekend once a month. It’s 8-5 and i get paid minimum wage and it’s the most physical and mentally draining job ever and i just end up making people stressed and angry at me as i’m too slow to do things perfectly in a short amount of time. I honestly dread going to it but i still get like £80 a month which isn’t awful but when i see people getting like £8 an hour for babysitting it makes me question my life choices 😅

Nope! Not usually! We just have to take that foal’s temperature often, so it’s easier to keep it on 😊
@@SugarRoseStudios Okay thanks the other day I watched a world horse welfare video and something bad happen when a foal had a headcollar on all the time so now i'm a bit weary.I didn't think you would do youch a thing though :)

I missed the notification!!!! Also, a few weeks ago my finger looked like that also.. one of my mares bit my nail and a small chunk of my finger tip off a month or so ago. Ouch.
And please, if you do not feel safe or are not enjoying it there.. please do quit. Also, if you are an intermediate/advanced rider you can probably exercise horses for people for money. Or if you are short, as I call it.. “SQUISH THE PONIES!” when they are bad for their kids 😂
