Sometimes you will pick a lock in the wrong direction and use a plug spinner to quickly spin it in the correct direction without the need to re-pick it. But you still need to pick it first before you use a plug spinner. I don't know what you are referring to "security pins" in my comment.

I have one of those locks. I used to use it as demonstration that you can pick a lock using only a two paperclips. Some times I didn't even got to pick all of the pins and the lock opened up.
Pretty sure that first lock can be opened by hitting it with your bare hands

El primer metodo, no. O es falso o solo sirve con candados/cerraduras muy baratas, esa herramienta ni siquiera es para apertura.
Los otros dos metodos, si. Pero depende mucho de la combinacion y el tipo de pernos que tenga y en un cilindro con via paracentrica tambien esta el problema de que tienes menos espacio para "trabajar".

LOL if you take the pins out you don’t need a spinner a screwdriver will work. Just so anyone watching this that doesn’t know that is not how you use a spinner. Though the machined lock was nicer than the clear plastic ones.

ALBEIRO ALZATE el plug spiner o volteador. No abre candados ..sirve para devolver el cilindro sin necesidad de volver a usar la guanzua o girarlo en varias ocasiones segun la cerradura..esto porque algunas cerraduras son dificiles de girar hacia un lado..

rob Semprini it might open this crappy chinese lock, sometimes there‘s really only one pin which you have to touch, thus if the plug spinner hits it it could open the lock...
Of course that’s not possible with a decent padlock, obviously why pretty much all those videos show the same crappy chinese padlock instead of let’s say an Abus padlock.

I like how you pick the absolute shittiest available locks... Anyone that uses that garbage deserves to get broken into. Use that on am American Lock padlock and tell me how it works. That's just a plug spinner. Usually used AFTER you pick a lock to roll out the other way. Not uncommon in the locksmith world. You're not even using the rake correctly. Pick a shitty Kwikset at least. My first one ever took me 28 seconds with ONE HAND TENSIONING AND ONE HAND MANIPULATING THE PINS. 4 SECONDS WITH BOTH HANDS. THAT LOCK IS SHIT. SHIT IS PROBABLY TOO GOOD OF A WORD.
