The FL character is one of the best I've encountered in these short dramas. She gave as good as she got and she didn't entirely rely on the ML. She even stood up to him and gave him a good talking to. The ML kept struggling with his obsession to find his savior. It would have been nice if they showed him choosing the FL before the identity reveal. That's my only complaint on this one. 9/10.
This is not the first time I see in Chinese movies this obsesión the ML have for his savior. I dont understand that cosmovision of life. How someone can be obssesed just for one moment and discard, reject and even mistreat someone that isnt the person he is obsessed. Also, I dont understand with so many fish in the ocean why a woman would choose to stay with a man like that.

The storyline is absolutelystupid. "Bái yuèguāng" concept may be cultural, so I cannot be biased about it else I might offend some sentiments. This concept of pledging oneself to the person who saved your life can be pretty daunting. On top of it a fake Bái yuèguāng appears with a completely different face and the ML accepts her with open arms is ridiculous. Face can change but the muscle memory does not change. Each individual is attributed with own mannerisms and body movements which is their own characteristics. How can the ML not able to differentiate this, is beyond my comprehension.ML is wishy washy, can't make up his mind. A man who cannot come to a quick firm decision to stay put with his pregnant wife ain't worth a grain of salt. Script writer !!! you need to reformat your brain. This storyline is dum, dumber, dumbestKeep your brains aside(shutdown) before watching this drama

I’ve read the comments very early on and everyone seemed to strongly hate his character so I was 100% sure he’ll find a fake one & believe her for at least an hour but I’m surprised & very glad that didn’t happen until literally the last 10 minutes! having said that he’s still one of the weakest most annoying ML characters
