Love the fabric in the last dress. I am sure you are worrying too much. It would look beautiful on you. You should move to Sydney. Nothing but sunshine everyday. So glad the summer here is over. Happy sewing
I can see why you wanted the jacquard fabric, it is just stunning. Love all the other fabrics too and all those colors will look fabulous on you. Your dress is beautiful and like you say, a great style for you ❤
As usual Rachel I love your pattern choices and fabrics. I do not wear dresses because I have varicose veins and I don't like the way I look in them. Can't wait to see your makes.
Peach is such a lovely colour on you. Your new dress is so nice for spring and summer. Love the colours in that also. I got my hair done this week and doesn't it brighten the spirits when our hair is done. Great bag. So nice to have a leather bag these days. So many are made of plasticey stuff and they are no where near a nice as leather.
The shoe fabric I can see it as a just below the knee shift dress , wearing a similar pair of court pump shoes picking out one of the colours of the fabric 😃
Nice fabrics Rachel. I have the abstract ( Penelope one) in black and cream, I’ve made a Lyra and it’s turned out lovely. I’m also going to look at the PJ pattern. I really like the look of those. Lovely bag as well… I don’t blame you. Xxx
Your hair is looking good. I have been fabric buying, too, and NOT destashing. I have been sewing some up, though. You've bought some gorgeous fabrics. Love your dresses. I do hope you're right about summer :-)
I made the Butterick pattern last summer. It’s a good one! And I have made the McCalls dress so many times, I love the fronts rather than facings- it’s one of my faves!
I struggled with the fit for the 7974 couldnt find the waist measurement but then saw Sians video its on the skirt piece. Im only 5ft that would be way too low 😭. Might have to revisit and adjust, ypurs is beautiful 😊
It's lovely to see you. That top and cardi really suit you. I think the shoe fabric would look great as an Anthea top or similar. I know that deflated feeling you mention, but sometimes things do grow on you after a night's sleep. I think strappy sandals with that tiered dress. And sunshine. 😊
Love your new fitted dress gorgeous! I’ve got the Veronica tucker pattern so I’ll wait for your review to come out! Can’t wait to hear what you have to say! Enjoy sew toon 😍xxxxx
I think dresses in viscose just have a bit more give than cotton lawn. The only bugbear I have with viscose is the creasing😆I do think this depends on the viscose though. I bought 2 fabrics from Sherwood’s , just remnants but was really pleased to get a sketched faces one to make my 8 year old granddaughter a shorts coord set. We love drawing faces and big eyes and when I saw this I thought yes! I’m hoping she’ll love it. Super fabrics again Rachel and a lovely dress. 😊
The shoe fabric in La Blouse would be stunning (if you have enough fabric) and I made the Marnie in the Tokyo version of your street life viscose challis - just with the neck ruffle and it looks amazing!
Fancy sending me your traced off size 12 😂😂😂 i actually think i remember you sewing the original! My friend Sewno65 has the same China Town fabric which she bought at Stitch Festival ❤ i think we only seen you very briefly on the upper mezzanine for that huge group photo...not that you can see my head in it, I am hidden behind The Daly Thread lol but i spent my time up there being Ruan's wee leprechaun 😂😂 That spring dress is beautiful ❤ i think converse will look 👌
I've got that jacquard teal fabric from stitch fabrics too. Reminded me of animal print when I saw it which is always my fav. Sherwoods do have great sales but their posting out let's them right down, especially when it like £5 for smaller orders. It's not very good these days compared to other companies online
Hi ..Rachel...your post of Friday 19th April disappeared somehow from my TH-cam feed....sorry can you send again please? Thanks very much...I had watched half of it.!!!XXXXX
That is loads of unpicking. I am working on unpicking a dress I made for my daughter where put the front skirt panel on backwards and it has pockets! Ugh!!!
Isn't it amazing how we love the same fabrics as our mates? Is this because we are similar or just the "monkey see, monkey want" mentality. Either way, there are going to be lots of people around in the same fabrics this year lol. A bright and beautiful scene it will be. Thank you for your videos.
Enjoy using the lovely tokyo fabric- I love mine! I was wearing it at work on Wed and kept getting stopped about it!!! Can't wait to see it made up !❤
Isn’t it amazing how much better you feel if your hairs looking good and you’ve got your nails done! It’s the little things 😊
Stunning dresses, yessss to summer and dresses ❤

Lovely to see ya face 🥰. I have that blouse in my cart (the one with the pin tuck front). It’s gorgeous isn’t it. See ya tomorrow 🎉
Also abstract for Anthea blouse ❤
Just made a lois dress out of the stitch fabrics jacquard viscose that I got at the stitch festival 😊😊
I bet that is stunning!
@@StitchedUp it's lush!! 👍🏻😁

You’re absolutely right I placed another order that weekend and it’s taken 2 weeks to get here

I'm not sure why your fabric is named Chinatown. I saw a lot of Korean writing and possibly a bit of Japanese? They are all beautiful though!
That is loads of unpicking. I am working on unpicking a dress I made for my daughter where put the front skirt panel on backwards and it has pockets! Ugh!!!
xXX👍👍👍
ci didn’t quite catch the name of the blogger you mentioned. janelle something or other🤔
