My is Arlonzo I'm 17 years old. I was in the 12th grade, a senior, but I graduated in July 2024, which is now my birthday is July the 10th. I'm going to college and intending to learn in the Army as a Mortuary Af fairs Specialist I'm doing this to carry people, loved ones, and to pray that they fought hard in the war as I stand right next to them.
A little over 14 years ago, I saw this as one of my options when I tried to enlist in the Army right after high school (at Coolidge, Arizona). I had taken a pre-ASVAB test and scored somewhere between 40-60. This was one of the primary options alongside Unit Supply Specialist. I didn't want to do either. I was actually trying to become a Telecommunications Specialist (72E/25D). I complained to the sergeants at the Casa Grande Recruiting Station that I don't see Telecomm on the list. One of them told me I didn't qualify for a Top Secret clearance because I haven't received my citizenship certificate and was under "Permanent Resident" status. Tried to do something similar in the Navy (IT), but civilian representatives told me I couldn't get a TS because my mom was living in PI, therefore, disqualifying me from working on any communications system. I ended up becoming an Aviation Electrician (AE) and loving it as I worked on F/A-18 Hornets. Looking to go back to service (the right way) through the Army's WOFT program. So, I guess I got that going for me now!
So you came here to say you weren't very smart and didn't want this job. Like, you can barely complete a coherent sentence level un-intelligent. Yet, you came here to tell us how much you didn't want either career path. Ok. Big win for you I guess? Pos.

I have a lot of respect for anyone that could do this. I could handle a lot, but anything like this
These solider are really our unsung hero. These soldiers make sure our fallen hero’s make it home

This is so cool and such a great story to tell..definition of keeping your head up!
Update? Did you get into WOFT?

"(72E/25D)"
Why are you using old MOS's?
My father was a Graves Registration during the Korean War. Sounds like this job. Definitely a tough job.
As a 91B , 12 years to include earning my CMB, this MOS May not get the glory but by God they are needed
This was my mos back in 08 but i later reclassed to an 88m.
😀😀😀that’s me right there, FT was great🇺🇸💪🏼
What would you recommend someone learn before hand going to this ait?
No movie on these people. They have to recover bodies or what is left.
There is the excellent 'The Messenger' (2009) but that is not really the same job.
There's a film called "Taking Chance" 2009 with Kevin Bacon probably as close as you'll get.
I served in two different branches (Marines and Army) and never knew this was an MOS option.
What do you think happened to those killed in war?
@geraldwestphipps764 which was better
I want this mos but it’s such small mos it’s hard to get this job
I got offered this job
I got this job! I’m shipping April 10th! So close can’t wait!

@@liszosorio5027 you still like this mos?
@@liszosorio5027How has it been ??
I almost thought this was the newest recruiting ad..
How does this translate to the civilian side?
I would assume working in a morgue. A guy I know works as the County Mortician where I live and he says it's a good job.
Really? You seriously did not just ask that question, what are you? Like 9?

Good question! You could become a funeral director, mortician, or even work in science based areas of a job I believe! Hope this helps!
Where do 92m get stationed ?
VA, and Hawaii mostly. But there are spots everywhere in the world. But those are the main ones.
🍻🙏🏻. Thank you
My advice for you is: to search and see some gored images. The more you see, the less it will feel in the real life.
Do these guys assist by burying the fallen in the cemetery? As in folding the flag, final salute
No, they simply collect the dead and categorize their belongings.
no there is a detail for that
there is a E7 in the US Army detailed with a team to communicate with the family and to perform the ceremonies
called a Casualty Assistance Officer
@@MICHAELSMITH-jh5vy okay and question do these guys like carry guns or its legit no combat mos
That's me hella yea
You mind if I ask you a question
LOL hi Escobedo
Lol I know weyrick guy in the vid
its the hardest things ever
pay range?
Wdym pay range you all army gets equal pay unless you rank up or as special officer
No pay range it goes by rank lol

Why this is important.
There is no hope for the future of Mortuary Affairs Specialist. This MOS destroys people, many who have never even processed a remain.
I mean… they do let you know you can tell your higher ups you want to change mos. It’s a difficult mos, but every mos has its difficulties.
This is embarrassing
How??
who would want to join to army and do this.
the ones that really don't want to see combat
