You might want to try Aquaphor instead of vaseline. I find it better since it doesn't clog follicles around the mouth. Aquaphor is lighter than vaseline so you'll have less break outs around the mouth for anyone that tends to break out easily. It's honestly almost the same as vaseline but richer if that makes sense.
