People, even devotees forget Shiva (Nirguna Brahman) is Shakti (Saguna Brahman) and Shakti is Shiva. There is no way to Shiva without Shakti and vice versa. Even india does not acknowledge the symbolism behind Ardhanareeshwara as much as they should. Shakti is usually discarded as maya in certain sanatan sects, but without Shakti, there is no Shiva, neither is there a boat to Shiva. Without Shiva, there is nothing to stop us mis-using our energy (Shakti). Have you heard of the various myths and stunts of Sage bhirgu? Ha ha. Quite patriarchal myths since bronze age. He was eventually humbled in the grand scheme of the divine stage. There are some beautiful symbolisms in myths that can be 'perceived' in multiple ways. :)
P.s Vishnu is Saguna brahman. An incarnation/form of Shakti - that's why he is closely associated with Shakti and is often referred to - as her brother in certain sects. He also incarnates in human and materialistic forms to propel and progress dharma, which is to propel all materialism/creation towards the metaphysical (Shiva/Nirguna brahman). Isn't that the greatest dharma? Us souls of Prakritis towards the Purusha? I find this very beautiful. :)
All is one and one is all, like you always sing - 'Hearts beat ad one'. I love listening to your song over and over again. :) xx
