No one but Gary Moore could make the guitar sound so sad. When words failed him the guitar spoke and this song was the last encore he did the first time i saw him live back in 1989! Remember it like it was yesterday!
You have guitar players, and then you have Master Artists of feeling and emotion. Gary Moore, SRV, Hendrix Jeff Healy...Next Level Stars. : Love ya for all your hard work and bringing us so much great music. You are greatly appreciated by your subscribers. You're a friend in our hearts.
Gary was an amazing Irish guitarist/vocalist who played a few times in Thin Lizzy and was very respected in the music scene. He could just blow ya away Thanks
Hahaha. Ok don’t wanna dis Gary My mother’s mother was born in Country Kerry That would make her a South /West home girl. Don’t know the Irish S/W gang hand signs except this one 🤘
Up the Irish! :) Grew up with this guy, he became well known when he joined Thin Lizzy. Check out Rory Gallagher from Cork, unreal. There's a festival named after him.
I want to suggest you watch our to this today best artist to play Gary Moore. Taj Farrant is 14 and he's going to blow your mind!!! He's now playing with the best out there and has 3 of his own originals hit #1 on the blues charts!
The Les Paul he is playing is worth over one million dollars. Originally owned by Peter Greene of the Original Fleetwood Mac back in the '60s he sold it to Gary Moore and when he died it went through a number of hands and is now owned by Kirk Hammett of Metallica. It's called Geenie because of its original owner.
@bobtheteddybear Yep, it's far too polished and clean to be either Greenie or Stripe his two most famous Les Paul's. Greenie has mismatched tone controls and Stripe as its name suggests had a horizontal Stripe across the top of the body.
Beautiful reaction video. I’m writing this watching you react. You understand. You feel this music, the build up, being in this moment with him, and it’s amazing. For me, it’s like hearing the song again for the first time; thank your or that. You have a new subscriber, and I’ll have more recommendations and look forward to them. Thank you.
B B king and Jimmy Hendrix were up there looking at each other saying, "WTF" ! "God" is now saying, "WTF how did you do that" ? Gary: Don't worry son, I have an eternity to teach you!!
Together with J.Hendrix and C.Santana he belongs to my favourites guitar players.I am not musician so I don´t know if his skills are good or not but that sound is incredibile.
Lyrics written by Phil Lynott. He heard the melody and said; hey, that sounds a bit French…..I remember Paris in ‘49 refers to Phils year of birth. His dads name was Parris, so it’s about as deep as that
This is typical of the "reviews" on Utube of serious music. They don't know enough to comment on GM's style. Or what keys he's playing in. Or the time changes he's making. Or how he holds notes longer than just about anybody. They simply shake their heads back and forth and grin. Pure rip offs! Don't expect any more than that.
I think no one can make a guitar "crying" like Gary Moore did. Rest, Gary...
Rest In Peace to the GOAT.
Gary 4ever! 🤘
I think this is one of the greatest performances from Gary. Amasing awesome guitar player. 🎸🎸🎸❤️

One of the all time great guitarists. His guitar always took lead vocals in his songs.
" I still have the blues for you is another Gary Moore song that I think you would really enjoy. HiS vocals in that song are amazing
Tons of great ones from Gary Moore, one of my all-time favorites is "Jumping at Shadows".

@@gege4707 Pardon my ignorance but the fact he is Northern Irish means he is a teensy-weeny bit Irish, doesn't it? :)

No it’s notGreenie, but one of his signature series as there’s no binding

One of the best
R.I.P Gary, You're Still The Best...💯🙏💔
Great Reaction: "Gary Moore-I'ce Still Got The Blues For You LIVE in Paris"....:)
He's my top #1 guitarist
The sustain on Gibson les paul is legendary.

Just another generation, telling his story also by guitar, not only by sung words!!!
The greatest hobbit ever.
เป็นอีกหนึ่งนักกีต้าร์ที่ฉันโปรดปราน
garys voice faded toward the end but never his guitar playing.
Why was gary Moore not rated by so many people

BET NEIL YOUNG WAS A FAN OF THIS GUY
A Parisienne is a female that lives in Paris. Apparently he had an affair or fling with one. Memories.

@@mwjsbleakwater564 I believe it was written by Phil regarding his mother and father’s romance. Either way, an amazing performance.
