    Does anyone knows if there are more wave plugins available apart from the 4 usual ones? Looking for REVERB units for Cubasis IPAD, such as Lexicon, etc.

      There are a ton of AUV3 plugins you can add in the form of both effects like reverb and instruments like synths. Just go to app store and type in reverb.

    Thanks for video, why do drum tracks have 2 Waves per instrument ?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not quite sure I understand the question but I believe you're referring to the visual waveform, and the 2 waveforms stacked on top of one another represent the left and right stereo channels.

    • @donm1547
      @donm1547 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OK, thats what I thought. I still have to wonder why the Kick, Snare and Hats are stereo.These are instruments that can be panned accordingly and also, wouldn't this add to the processing load by doubling the waveforms per track when it is not needed?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@donm1547 Yah it does add to the processing load I believe, also Cubasis doesn't really support mono yet either.

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately the ability to save effect chains is not a feature currently in Cubasis so what people usually do is create template projects with the chains already setup or create presets for each plugin so you can quickly add the plugins again with the same presets.

    • @zeniodjsax
      @zeniodjsax 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MobileMusicPro that’s a shame!! Hope they add that feature or at least a copy paste between projects. Even that would help a lot! Thank for your comment!! :)

    • @MobileMusicPro

    • @MobileMusicPro

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Ilym0319 Well like I said it is possible just not with the stock plugins, and it can't be done manually with routing, so it just has to be built into the auv3 plugin, the only ones that comes to mind off the top of my head to do that is Pro-R by fabfilter and possibly Toneboosters reverb.

      The closest option I have in Pro R is the dynamic eq-ing.
      Wouldn’t I have to solo my reverb by creating an AUX then external sidechain it to my Pro C2 ?

  • @guttedmonkey

    So there is no send track in the mixer to adjust overall volume? Just the little send amount slider in the side bar? And no way to create an effect chain in a send track?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes there's just the little slider but you can have up to 8 fx in the send slot. There's currently no way to save fx chains other than saving projects and duplicating tracks.

    • @guttedmonkey
      @guttedmonkey ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MobileMusicPro yeah, I have found you can have 8 effects in the send slot, but these are all separate send effects, routed in parallel, rather than a chain of effects. e.g. An effect such as reverb on a send track, with many different sounds routed to it can get a bit muddy in the mix and it’s a very common practice to follow a reverb with a parametric eq just to knock out some problem frequencies in the reverb track. There are lots of other effect combinations which are useful in send tracks, but this just doesn’t seem possible in Cubasis in its current form. Practically every desktop DAW allows you to create a send channel, add multiple effects and control the overall volume of the send track at the very least, not to mention being able to route sends to other sends or busses etc. It just seems like a very bare-bones implementation of send tracks at the moment, which doesn’t allow for some fairly basic mixing techniques. Hopefully a future update will see the send tracks, and the mixer in general get a bit more flexibility.

      Apologies but no it is currently not possible. However Apple has just released some new tech in iOS 16 that gives developers greater control over floating windows and external screens. So it's very possible we'll be able to see this implemented into Cubasis at some point.

    Great video, but insert reverbs are the only ones where the mix control should be used on the reverb. Send effects must be used at 100%. If they are not, the apparent dry volume goes up when raising the send level. Unless this is what you want, always set send effects mix to 100%.

  • @hamerray
    @hamerray 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When it comes to the Insert Effects. What other types of effects can you use besides the two that you mention, I’m guessing probably limiter, saturation, any other ones that you can think of. Then when it comes to the Send Effects, The other ones that you can use besides the two that you mention probably be Chorus Phaser Flanger any other ones that you can think of.

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes of course there really are no rules in music production, just general guidelines (that are also made to be broken). Generally though it's sound shaping tools like eq/compressor/gate/limiter on insert and special effects like reverb/chorus/phaser/flanger on the send.
