If they were kept in dirty beds they wouldnt have the feather on there leges as someone who keeps theses horses and is not in the travelling community I know that a dirty bed would 'burn' (hair would fall off legs if in dirty bed) the feather (hair on the legs) off
Its money to those people and its disgusting how they treat those horses. The traveller group that come through our town every year left 20 of them in a field. Now there's atleast 40+ . They've been there for 2 years and according to the law no one can go and take them. No shoes, no winter care, just dumped. Breeding year after year. I'm sure some are really well cared for but by me they are found roaming in the roads with their young or tied and left by a lamp post. Its heartbreaking to see. They deserve better
I do agree with you because I am a gypsy/traveller and I treat my horse very well enough food and water and enough care done to it but I do think some travellers/gypsys can be sad but not all travellers do it ❤
@AdaBirch this is the thing! The ones who uphold the traditional way of life can be great and some are lovely people with respectable families. Then there's some who ruin the name for others everywhere
My cob worked our land ( ploughing!) , was a lovely ride, drove commercial carriages and was a saint in every way. I wouldnt spend a penny on an event horse it would be of no use to me whatsoever. Horses for courses, your comment is really thoughtless. Some breed lines of cobs are very expensive, some are £500 dross on the likes of dragon driving same with any !
If u were to look at the Arab stallion sales you would see a similar method it’s just the way you handle stallions the husbandry of the gypsys and the and selective breeding has established one of the most sought after animals in the world o forgot to mention. The CD love
@@TildaMaeFrancis not in a horse market like that. If anyone is going to pay that they would go to a proper dealer with all the right paperwork. I think this video is a fake, you know what these travelling people are like
The smaller they are the more they're worth. Cobs have been traditionally used for pulling barges for centuries and it is best to have a small one. These Cobs are great for horse drawn carriages (weddings etc). Great to see these men keeping the tradition alive!
You just have to look at the feathers on the legs & tail & see these poor ponies must stand daily either in a soaked stable as that looks urine stain,s and obvious dirt mud etc from the fields and the fear in some of these ponies eyes tell a story 😏😕
Anyone can ''Ask'' anything for a horse...Wether they ''Get'' is another story entirely.
How disgusting to see how the horses are treated.
How they are treating these horses is deplorable.
Some smashing cobs...some are filthy though..stained from dirty beds. Sad to see.
I have a feeling you might be wrong.
Mate they didn’t wash them bc it cold you can’t just wash them when ever you whant they get sick

For 60k id want a thoroughbred with a chance of winning the derby
You dont understand
People will pay lots of money for a stunning cobs. And most people who race horses will put the horse down after it’s useless to them soooop ...
ste manc man these are thoroughbred ,
To make it clearer then for 60k id want something better than an animal
Josephine Powell no it’s a cob 😂

They’re saying pound not grand
Of what use are these horses other than pulling a trailer?
OMG!!! I LOVE Miniature Irish Cob horses 💕

Beautiful ponies, l hope they have a safe happy life 💜
By gypsys they probably won’t.
Half a horse you got there for wee people
60k is that for all of them ?
Selling by the pound? Beautiful ponies. Would love to have any of them
I doubt many change hands they just show them off
Not Gypsies . They are Tinkers. What do you do with these ponies? I don't hear them talking thousands more like £60
Exactly, i heard the fella say the price of the filly is 50 bar,,,that's £50 not £50,000.
One of them ponies looked like Pamela Anderson ffs. 😂 Is the yellow staining a sign of a heavy smoker?
There's always one Whackerplate chiming in a deal ain't there.
If some pretty decent eventing horse is 8k... why is a cob 60k? (dont get me wrong, they are very pretty)
Leona Bastet But the thing is, if you look on websites 60% of them are cobs..

@@coryparni3620 now that would be something, since he passed away 9 yrs ago...
One dodgy job for some unfortunate pensioner, and the cob is paid for.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 not with £150 $150 ask to see aw documents especially the passport as you can get these made for you,

Afraid they're going to be eaten under The EU.
Are they ponies or miniature Irish Cob horses? They are so beautiful and so calm. I hope that that their buyer will love and cherish them for life.
60k for a horse wtf lol

Why is it worth so much?
the ponies aren't worth that much,, the travellers just tryna get money
