Bro you are doing good.However i dont agree to what your brother said.Yes there was news of cheating in oscp once however it is pretty demanded and if someone gets it by cheating they will completely fail in interview.Anyone having good knowledge in this field will suggest you to go for oscp.Oswe is tougher than oscp and its pretty tough but very real like.Portswigger labs are amazing from what i have heard and i'll surely solve them later. Talking about the list of machines you have written down, most of them are easy-medium and oscp machines are a but tougher than that.HTB machines are preffered over Vulnhub.Your target should be to go for 40-50 Htb machines which are oscp level. You are doing it great anyway.I think you should give it more time and gain more knowledge in web and go for oswe if web interests you more✌🏻
Absolute for oscp one should at least solve 40-50 HTB . My brother @m0nkeyshell is already OSCP, CRTP, CRTE, eCPTX . He have took more then 100 interviews so he has better knowledge of what's going on in market at that time. And today because of his guidance I am working with Nikhil Mittal as security researcher. And that's true I still have to gain more knowledge in web. I really love Portswigger cuz it has covered almost all web app vulnerabilities which great for starting with bug bounty. Where OSWE is not going to help as it's white-box.
