The melee felt alright and I think the animations helped it feel ok. The thing is, in reality, the character had little to none technique in fighting making it hard to do more complex mechanics. Somehow the shooting felt slowpaced wich also make it feel a little more real. Real, in a sense, as if stakes were higher. If you stop moving and stay in cover some enemies would mirror this actions while enemies with closer ranges weapons, like shotguns, would actually try to get closer. In more open spaces, people with handguns would try flanking you. It felt dynamic to be frank. I didn't have any problems with it at all

I even made a video showcasing 10 things they removed from Mafia DE. In the past I discussed all the cut content from Mafia 3. I'm pretty sure Hangar 13 doesn't like that lol.
The weapons are well done, but in cutscenes empty M1911 is shown with it's slide not being locked back. With pistols like that one you can easily tell it's empty when it's slide is pulled back.
During gameplay the 1911 fires double action while the real gun is single action only, if anyone actually tried shooting one with the hammer decocked the gun simply wouldnt shoot, the other revolvers also dont have the animations for the hammer in double action mode, also I dont know if there are any 1911 that dont have bolt latches or whatever do people call them but that is the least of innacuracies regarding this gun in specific.
@@talpatv512 No im saying that they had a chance to improve the blood/gore system but they just copied and pasted it from mafia 3. You can even find armor and money systems from M3 leftover in these game files for DE.

Tbh the story is very good in rdr 2, but guess what? They just bring more and more and more characters thruout the story, and too manny is too manny. That's why i choose mafia for the story, and rdr 2 for the gameplay and world
It's a shame that this game has a small arsrnal of weapons. For completing story missions it would be better to give the opportinity to get new weapons, such as BAR 1918, the Auto 5 self-loading shotgun and another self-loading pistol, for example, the FN M1903 or colt1903 pocket hammer or something like that, IMO Sorry for my English
I don't see nothing wrong with this. The game even has a cowboy outfit for Tommy. A double barrel shotgun without being an sawed one would be cool too. This game needs more things to unlock. Different weapons that aren't so outlandish is a good idea. Even a Mosin Nagant or a Mauser pistol would be nice. True to the period guns.
Mafia DE is one of my favorite games to play ita such a shame the game didn't get more patches/updates or DLC for example finishing the BAR machine gun & let us use golden weapons during the story mode I'm sure that could have been an easy update also it's over 2 years later and my carcyclopedia is still 52/53 because the bolt thrower was never patched into the game so I'm gonna be stuck at 99.9 percect forever ... also some DLC skins and side missions would have been great hopefully Mafia 4 brings more to the table and Harnger 13 has proper time to work on it
I love the game but damn I wish people on the street would have the balls to fight you back instead of running, and I wish you could go in more building and have gangs on the streets just makes it all seem so real. Hopefully over time they will update it

I don't know if the bare knuckles was in the files, but for some reason a item instantly spawned on my weapon reel and it was a bare knuckles, i was replaying just for relaxation and when i was near the crates in the 2nd floor taking out the guard, i got a bare knuckle and its almost the same look of the weapon but sadly it will be gone when you open the weapon reel, for this encounter you need to get caught/raise the alarm for the glitch to happen theres a chance the bare knuckle will spawn.
Huge logical fail common in this video: the NPCs, namely cops, try to pistol-whip you while you're in God mode. "Ooh, filling him with lead isn't working, let's gun-whip him, that should work!" 😂
If you can find it or obtain it in the game. Then you can find it yourself. If you played the game and completed the entire mission and you still haven’t gotten it the it’s only through mods.

There is literally zero reason what so ever for them to have cut these from the game. Theres already pretty much nothing to do after story mode and then they decide to cut the weapons down to less than 10.

It's the 1930s so it's kinda keeping with the times the mafia back then mostly used 38 45 shotgun and Tommy gun

I think the Unused Machine Gun would be The BAR or other types of Machine Guns that the Army Used.
I reckon that was just a weapons for developers to see how the combat worked. Cod waw had a hidden finger gun that did the same thing.
