I really hope Doc emphasizes to Joel the importance of passing out of double teams and not being too careless with the ball, too often over the years I have seen this man commit silly turnovers when being double teamed and I just hope Doc or someone on the staff helps him become better with that. I also hope they become better at entry passes, these guards need to start recognizing that when Joel has a favorable matchup you need to get him the damn ball. I could see his frustration at times last season when they weren’t getting it to him when he was demanding it.
I liked what he said until he said "I am the best scorer on the team" this is the problem with embiid. when he was referring to the 2017-2018 roster his usage was 33.37 % ranking him 56th of ALL TIME in usage. he needs to learn to STOP thinking about himself his usage needs to go down and he needs to pass more and know when to kick it out from double teams. This is always going to be a problem until he puts the "team first" and not care about his "usage" Everyone else is happy with sharing the ball and embiid is an amazing talent, I just hope the vets like green and howard put him in his place and doc doesn't allow him to be too greedy!

Hearing Ben this season I have seen a huge amount of professionalism and well mannered in speaking the “team” game which is basketball.
@@ebok33643 Yeah it worries me the most about the team, people forget that howard was a superstar and humbled himself to fit into rosters, the reason ad and lebron are so dangerous is because lebron doesn't care if others don't think he is the best on the team even though I think he is still far superior to ad. players like green and curry will always slot into a team greatly, curry played with luka who has one of the most highest usages in nba history. this is why I have always respected curry and klay they spoke like that. This is why I don't want harden, because PPG individually may look nice and please the simple basketball fan, but it doesn't win championships, even jordan who is the goat also knew it was a team effort and he has the right over anyone to have the most usage. From what I have read however doc has made it very clear it won't be like this and it will be about "who" is in the right place at the right time. I hope they keep him in check! then I think we will go very far!
