Liberty Primary School | 2024 Outdoor Classroom Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

We had a great ribbon cutting ceremony today to open up our new outdoor classroom at Liberty Primary! The space was generously donated by Cornell Dubilier and expertly constructed by students and staff from the Pickens County Career and Technology Center, as well as SDPC Operations. Jim Kaplan, recently retired from Cornell Dubilier, helped spearhead this project at Liberty Primary, and was present to cut the ribbon. In addition, Mrs. Windham’s first grade students were honored to be the first class to work in the outdoor classroom this afternoon. We are so proud of this new space and can’t wait to witness all the learning that will the outdoor classroom will inspire in our students!
