A casual fan who's never played hockey looks at the game differently than people who've played the game. There's a lot about the game that goes kinda unnoticed, clutching, grabbing, holding the stick under the armpit, hooks, accidental contact, wink, wink.
Timestamps? I've heard about Granlund, Miller and Pettersson a million times. Don't wanna hear about it over and over and over. I know how it went down.
Tom Wilson hit last year was a stick slash at Noah Gregor face against the maple leafs. Completely inexcusable offense from Tom Wilson and he served maybe a 5 gamer for something that should be 20 minimum
I think all this boils down to inconsistent rule enforcement. Had Hartman done what he did in Game 7 of the Conference finals, half of the hockey worlds' executives would be appauding it for "Good ol' hockey'. This is where "game management" ultimately fails. As soon as the NHL ( admittingly ) picks and chooses what and when to enforce, these plays will always be in the spotlight and up for debate. If egregious plays come with a mandatory 2-3 game sussy, regardless of the time of year or player involved, these discussions such as Harman, would be far and few.
I hope JT Miller could be a guest on the show one day. As a Canucks fan, it was a privilege to see him play.

Question for Johnny. Do you think the Ranger should tank? They are behind the Islanders in the standings
Definitely not
@ a pure fan at heart. Nothing wrong with that
Lol you can't tank when you literally just traded away your first round pick this year

Ask 10 different people about a person and you'll get 10 different answers
Lou is out of touch with the current state of the league & it sucks
