Do you have an idea why people don't continue to Astorga and Camino France from this point. ?

I'm not sure. If I were to hazard a guess I'd say most (if not all) VdlP pilgrims would have already completed the Frances. Kathleen and I just wanted to experience something different - see another part of this beautiful country; although, I'd personally love to re-visit Astorga and Ponferrada at some time in the future.
