Listening to this in honor of my Son, Aaron, who passed on 7/2/21. My Son always strived to be first in everything he did. He was highly competitive. He raced cars, both Stock and RC cars. He was a wrestler in High School. One time I walked into his preschool class room where they were singing a song and Aaron’s voice boomed above everyone else’s. I asked the teacher if he always sang that loud and the teacher said yes! He ended up being a wonderful singer. These are just a few of the things my Son excelled at and I was, and still am, very proud of the things he accomplished in his 42 years of life…. Before he got to Heaven first.

My Aaron, my younger brother, passed on 1/29/2021. We are approaching 3 years. It feels like yesterday. He was my baby… born almost exactly 10 years after me. I miss my best friend. Forever 28. Your Aaron sounded so special. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Part of me wants to say, “Where did the time go?” But then sometimes it hits me like a ton of bricks and I feel almost like it just happened. The holidays and birthdays are especially hard along with the death date. My son was in ICU for 5 days before being removed from his ventilator, so I also morn those days also. While I’d give anything to have my Aaron back, as I know you would too, at least I am able now to look back a lot of the time and smile at the fond memories. I’m also glad that my immediate family still includes Aaron in everything we do if that makes sense? It’s like he’s in our hearts so basically a part of him is still here. Best of luck to you! I appreciate hearing about your Aaron, who I know you loved, and still love very much.

Lost my dad 2 days ago unexpectedly at 46 years old. Pain is a understatement, he was my best friend. It was just me and him for so long before he met my stepmom. He was the epitome of the best dad who was always there for me through everything I had going on in my life even though he fought his own battles, he always pushed his own problems to the side to help me. I'm very sorry. I can't say I know what it feels like to lose a child, but on the 22nd of January I lost my brother, aged 20, to a motorbike accident. He was truly an amazing young man. Loving, caring. He didn't care about how much money he spent on someone, he just wanted to make them happy. I'm 14, and we heard the fire alarm, so we went for a drive to make sure it wasn't him. But just 2 minutes from home, he was lying next to his bike under a sheet with the power pole on the ground. We couldn't quite see who it was or what the bike looked like as we were slighty around the corner with some bushes in the way. I'll never forget my parents screams when they found out

My stepmom passed away last night from cancer. This is almost exactly what she told me before she passed. My godmother told me about this song. I cant keep the tears from falling, I miss my stepmom so much. She was the most amazing and loving woman to me and her son. But after 10 years of fighting, she is finally at peace.

I heard this song for the first time today. My husband died early on Christmas morning, 2020, from congestive heart failure. In the weeks leading up to his death and before he developed terminal agitation and didn't know who I was, we'd sit up and have long talks, cleaning out the "rooms" where we'd stored hurts, resentments, and disappointments. We never closed our eyes without telling each other we loved them. We didn't say goodbye because we knew where he was going. We'd say, "I love you, and I'll see you later." Today was not one of my "strong" days, and listening to this beautiful, tender song made my heart ache. My only brother was killed by a drunk driver on September 29, 2022 at the age of 47, as he was driving out of the parking lot where he worked. He had just finished his shift at the restaurant where he worked at. He would usually call me as he drove home and we would talk about our day. This song really says how I feel at times. He had suffered and struggled with diabetes since he was 13 years old had been on dialysis for 3 years. Was an pancreas and kidney transplant recipient. He had overcome so many obstacles, beaten so many diseases only to be taken away by a reckless person. I shall see you on the other side little brother ❤😢.

Please know that our love ones are always with us. After losing my daughter and husband and brother I look at life very differently. All three decided not to go to the light and stay back I guess waiting for their loved ones, my daughter died suddenly and her children I believe is why she stayed, my husband is obvious to me myself and his son. My brother is his wife. I get every so often a sign or two from one of them and have caught him on the ring doorbell. Please just talk to them as you would every day, there listening. As my husband told his son after passing in a dream as our son is autistic and his dad was his hero that son I'm still alive I just don't have a body. He told me you'll see me again, and fall asleep. Confirmation that they visit us in our dreams, and they're still living. We are vibrational beings living in a vibrational world of course we're still living. We're energy, right? Peace be amongst us and celebrate your loved ones passing as it's a celebration of the human they were and soul they'll always be. Be blessed for the time you had with them. You'll always be connected as a love so pure is never forgotten.

I heard this song for the first time today. My husband died early on Christmas morning, 2020, from congestive heart failure. In the weeks leading up to his death and before he developed terminal agitation and didn't know who I was, we'd sit up and have long talks, cleaning out the "rooms" where we'd stored hurts, resentments, and disappointments. We never closed our eyes without telling each other we loved them. We didn't say goodbye because we knew where he was going. We'd say, "I love you, and I'll see you later." Today was not one of my "strong" days, and listening to this beautiful, tender song made my heart ache. This song popped up and I was gonna skip it. So glad I took the time to listen to it. My only brother was killed by a drunk driver on September 29, 2022 at the age of 47, as he was driving out of the parking lot where he worked. He had just finished his shift at the restaurant where he worked at. He would usually call me as he drove home and we would talk about our day. This song really says how I feel at times. He had suffered and struggled with diabetes since he was 13 years old had been on dialysis for 3 years. Was an pancreas and kidney transplant recipient. He had overcome so many obstacles, beaten so many diseases only to be taken away by a reckless person. I shall see you on the other side little brother ❤😢.
I wish my grandma could still be here with me she was always by my side thru my ups n downs I wish I could have took her pain away, she had breast cancer when I was just a baby I’m 16 now and that cancer came back 15 yrs later and got the best of her when the doctors told me I only had weeks to days to spend time with her broke me in to pieces i am broken with out her my life will never be the same tell I get to be with her again 💔

Please know that our love ones are always with us. After losing my daughter and husband and brother I look at life very differently. All three decided not to go to the light and stay back I guess waiting for their loved ones, my daughter died suddenly and her children I believe is why she stayed, my husband is obvious to me myself and his son. My brother is his wife. I get every so often a sign or two from one of them and have caught him on the ring doorbell. Please just talk to them as you would every day, there listening. As my husband told his son after passing in a dream as our son is autistic and his dad was his hero that son I'm still alive I just don't have a body. He told me you'll see me again, and fall asleep. Confirmation that they visit us in our dreams, and they're still living. We are vibrational beings living in a vibrational world of course we're still living. We're energy, right? Peace be amongst us and celebrate your loved ones passing as it's a celebration of the human they were and soul they'll always be. Be blessed for the time you had with them. You'll always be connected as a love so pure is never forgotten.

We lost a dear friend, PJ, to f'ing cancer on 11/3/23 and we are still trying to figure out what to do without him. We had a celebration of life and showed a video of him with family and friends. The last song in the video was this one, when he was at his worst.
