the truth after listening to what i can for 25 years of my japan music journey, i must say... Japan music is different, but not as different and FOR SURE not better from the US/EU music - specialy when you think of common pop and pop rock. Anisongs did many bad thing to japan music creativity, and let's be true to ourselfs - those j-pop singing girls are as avarage as common pop singing girl from rest of the world. And my god, to find heavy music from JAP is INSANE HARD. Why? Coz no normal human would listen to this shit, yet i try to find something that would be at least not as far as far went Kyo with Dir En Grey up to ARCHE album. Unlucky Morpheus? Well...its not as heavy as i would like too altought that girl song with Syu is absolute banger. Syu from that power metal band? Well i so much hate power metal, yet syu skills are godlike. Oh look - its 24878547 band with cute japan girls that can sing, and damn - they can play - as other 24878547 female "metal" bands or kawaii metal bands. Its template, its nothing spectacular or eyeopening. Look at MUCC. Holy shit - their two first albums were MASTERPIECES and what did they do? THEY TURNED DAMN COMMERCIAL AND POP SINGING. Let them rotten in hell. Yet Devilloof altough i would love to get some melodic moment for like 30 seconds every 10 songs i must admit - they deliver what thay do best!
@@raistPL after 25 years you probably know them already, but just in case you dont (or for anyone else that doesnt), check out Ningen Isu, some top tier oldschool heavy/doom metal

@@raistPL I can agree with that. A lot of the Japanese music given exposure is churned out by big money to be commercial. That's why we see higher production quality or musicianship, which makes it seem "better," but often the songs aren't as meaningful or impactful.
He's been in so much more stuff. Check out Ichi The Killer :D Or Electric Dragon 80.000V if you wanna hear him play some of his own music. Fantastic actor. Been a fan of him for years.
Hoooooly fucking shit!! The music, your new outfit, the visuals, the editing, the quality...this is pure PERFECTION!!! The traditional elements combined with the heavyness, the clean vocals of the female guest feature...just WOW!!! Can't wait for a whole album like this!!!
@aronhardy412 Yup they defo brought back the technical deathcore elements and passed with flying colors also noticed there playing lower than DRop A this time too
@@Sikthy You think so? I mean, I though the Slam scene lean more towards simplicity. But I know Brutal Death can be technical too (Early Suffocation, who, amongst others, founded Slam). Thank you for such a beautiful video. It's pure eye candy. The music is icing on this. Everything goes super well together. 3:20 it really picked up! This is so good! Glad to see your roots again!
This band once taught me that if it comes from Japan you should just click on it 😂
This is so real I've found so many underrated vkei bangers like that

DEVILOOF IS SO BACK!
Tadanobu Asano from Shogun in a Deviloof music video? Song of the year. No question.
insane 🔥

Damn I See you everywhere dude XD. You have a great taste in music.
And also nice profile pic, great album
Reminds of Dir En Grey’s Obscure music video
The director is Hiroyuki Kondo, the same of some DIR EN GREY videos, including "OBSCURE"...
that exactly my first though when MV started i was so surprised
Same director
Luckily the music was actually good.
I still remember my grandmother singing this lullaby to me before going to sleep. Rest her soul

Same situation as with "Damn" 2 years ago
Deviloof is one of the most underrated j-metal bands ever.
Heaviest song since Damn, absolutely great work guys, chills down the spine!
They have way heavier songs than damn lol but yeah this is probably there heaviest

This is the DEVILOOF I've been needing. The past 2 singles haven't really done much for me but this right here. This is peak DEVILOOF.
Asano-saaaaaaaan! Yeay! :D
This music video has a great aesthetic
This makes it feel extra bitter that Aisaku quit the band. This song hits hard!

This is so cool! The music, the lyrics, the make up, the costume are awesome.
I really love the video too. So artistic.
I just searched deviloof and this popped up I'm 50 minutes late lol.
Sick🔥The directing work reminded me of Kizu’s Bee-autiful Days. Some modern visual kei bands are raising the bar👍🏽
