Cool vid! A few extra tips -- Aim is really important especially when comboing / combo breaking!!! I saw a lot of missed opportunities with you and your opponent's aim. Track your opponent with that crosshair 24/7! Each hit counts, especially in the more modern versions as showcased here. Although particles can create lag on lower-end systems, I would do everything you can to enable Totem particles, Crit/Damage particles, and Potion particles. They make a huge difference and sometimes you can't hear every audible cue. Use your visuals! OptiFine is really good for fine-tuning your particles. While spamming your gapples to get full saturation is not the worst method, it's definitely not the best. I would recommend using an alternative/cheaper food source (such as steak) if you're focusing on saturation. SMP fights can last if you're on an equal playing field with your opponent and you'll have to grind all those gapples! Don't waste the regen effect and make sure that you aren't being crit spammed while gappling or you'll lose a lot of that regen. A good way to crit spam/crit chain is to start with an uppercut (hit while jumping rather than coming down, doesn't deal extra damage but messes up your opponent's timing) then release W and crit then hold W again and then repeat the process. Other than that, the kb hit + sprinting while critting is still helpful, just make sure you're not compromising your tracking.
Get a good farm and farmer villagers lol the good farm doesn’t have to be giant and farmers can sell apples if you cure a villager or have a raid farm then your can get the apples and gold in no time
Technically this video is titled wrong as the kit showcased in this video is more of a nethpot kit than a netherite smp kit. The netherite smp kits I've seen typically include a shield and cobwebs and a bucket of water, though some smps prefer to use a nethpot kit as their official kit rather than the netherite smp kit. All in all, great video with some helpful tips to use in smp pvp.
Nice vid but there are a few more advanced techniques that your missing, Jump reseting - jump reseting can directly counter combo breaks as they make you take practically zero kb, this is done by pressing your jump key at the exact moment they hit you better gappling - if your playing nethpot (basically smp without shields and pearls), as soon as your opponent starts gappling, you want to have 1 or 2 crits before doing a kb hit and sprinting in the opposite direction whilst gappling (insure you are sprinting before gappling otherwise you will be much slower) so then you can more effectively win trades and decrease their armor faster agro totem pop - although not used as much in smp, it's very useful in nethpot, the main idea of it is to offhand a totem as your pots are running out so you can take advantage of the regen 2 that a totem gives you. as soon as your totem pops you don't gap but instantly splash strength and speed (and a health pot or 2 depending on their health and saturation) and start a crit chain. This is very hard to counter as they either have to wait out the regen (which last for about 40 seconds i forgot) or try to fight against the regen 2 (for refence gapples only give you around 5 seconds of regen 2 and god gapples only give around 20 seconds) Hope this helps!
Any yt will say something that I've already heated, but this tutorial helped me ro understand how amp kit looks like and how to pvp XD. Thank you, that was actually good
first, fire is a pain because it blinds you, second, it can pop your totem if you are really low, third, thats not how invincibility frames work, you will still take the same damage (im not gonna explain how they work, find a video on that.)
@@Gfurys You can take still KB if they anchor you into the air before crystalling you (a.k.a. rainbow crystal) and you will still take KB and btw i dont use fire res pots in my kits anyways
Rly good vid. It explains everythink you need to master to get a good pvper, but if we go a little higher (at the god pvp tier) it's rly hard to break the crit chains and strafe is not that much of an option
i personally reccomend kb 1 on a netherite sword IF ur in netherite pvp as it allows u to use lots of different combo methods against u opponent as kb 1 removes the anti kb from the armour
The knockback hits and critical strats I know, but i didn't know their names, I just used whatever works best, if using axe + shield pvp, you can actually use the no crit (or what I call 'ground' technique bc u never leave the ground) with an axe, it isn't the best on damage output, but it's SUPER unexpected and works for me sometimes.
Knockback 2 is overkill imo. Knockback 1 is a good balance though, especially since in 1.18.2 a knockback 1 sword will turn netherite pvp into something much like diamond sword pvp. In 1.18.2 they are removing the random knockback of netherite armor so you can actually combo ppl.
To people who actually are gonna fight a war: Don't do this. It sounds good on paper, but in practice, EVERYTHING can AND will go wrong. Ping issues, disconnecting, teaming, fire, etc. Your best bet is to just use guerilla warfare or set up traps. That way, you have way less risk of dying while getting a higher chance of actually killing your opponent.
As an experienced crystal pvper, I completely disagree. If you are fighting a 1v1 it is tough, but you have to stay calm and use what you know. If you are getting teamed, you can easily escape the fight with multiple pearls. Traps are rather useless on anarchy servers and crystal pvp servers. tnt minecarts can do lots of damage but there is no way you are gonna lure and experienced player down a trap. You have a better chance practicing and fighting. But you do have to be very aware of your ping. It depends on everybody’s skill level though. In a server with experienced pvpers, it is safe to fight on under 50-60 ms. If you are fighting inexperienced players, you can pull 10v1 fights on 90ms. If you have good ping and skill, it is safe to take a fight if you have totems, pearls, xp, crystals, and maybe a couple of anchors (you only need around 20 anchors)
I dont really know if you played mc before or are you just watching vids from lifesteal creators and commenting like a 9yo but i can confirm that you would win every fight that you are in with actual skill and a netherite pot pvp kit (except crystals), i can say that bcz i have been playing netherite pot pvp for the last year or so and barely lost a fight in smps. For your other issues; in most smps there is a no-log plugin so thats not a problem, all i can say to the ping is get good, as i said if you have actual skill a 1v2/1v3 or even a 1v4 shouldnt be a problem. I have no idea what you mean by fire so ill skip that. Note: metword great vid, loved your editing and you are one of the only ppl that knows what hes talking abt while doing these pvp kinda vids. Keep up the great work, you gained a sub.
@@itsreaper_ I've had countless experienced on SMPs where I just attacked my enemy's base and their belongings (not them) - and most of them ended up losing by the end of the conflict. Let's say you have the full netherite enchanted armor kit with 590 billion potions and 41 totems. And what else are you gonna do with that? Logging off is a horrible thing to do at this point since you KNOW your base is gonna be ransacked and nuked ten times in that timespan - but you have no other option. I could win by not fighting you at all and just chipping away at your resources, relations etc. What would you do about that with your fire aspect 2 sword? Sure, go ahead, kill the guy. Unless there's some sort of perma-death plugin, that's not going to do anything. The guy you're fighting would just come back again and again, and there's no way to win against an enemy with infinite manpower.
Why did you turn off crit particles, I just think seeing the crits and being able to judge is faster than hearing the crit and judging, also, smp kit has shield in it.
Video was good man, but Spam crits really only work on not so good players, as shown in your 1v1 fights, jumping rapidly easily let’s your opponent get combos on you.
you lose unless you have crystals, but you can still win if you use terrain, abuse shield, target one opponent and manage your armour well. Depends on opponent skill though
Tipped arrows literally fuck your opponent in 3 seconds dude... They are the most op thing ever. But they arent that good with bows. However, they are literally God tier with a piercing 4 quick charge 3 crossbow, since you can spam instant dmg 2 arrows on your opponent and it pierces through shields. Oh and you can also collect a few of the arrows that pierce through your opponent if they dont see the arrows and pick them up before you. So, basically an almost infinite death machine that pierces through everything including shields. The only thing that can stop you from committing genocide with that crossbow is aim. Since you cant have both piercing and multishot on the same crossbow, you need to have an at least decent bow aim with it. If your aim is good, then your opponent is 6 feet under the ground from this strat. You can combine this with multiple multishot crossbows loaded with maxed out fireworks to literally evaporate your enemy. I mean literally lol. If you are in an SMP, then you can do all these stuff in a secret place like a lab, so no one brings these deadliest bioweapons other than you. Ez win no diff

Can you make a video about how to get good gear in a anarchy smp?
nice video!
Subbed
Should you use toggle sprint?
Video was good man, but Spam crits really only work on not so good players, as shown in your 1v1 fights, jumping rapidly easily let’s your opponent get combos on you.
metword what if the battle is a 1v3 or a 1v4?
you lose unless you have crystals, but you can still win if you use terrain, abuse shield, target one opponent and manage your armour well. Depends on opponent skill though
Regeneration and turtle manster are also good, also bow and maybe firework crossbow
Firework crossbow is the worst ranged weapon in minecraft
@@andywei5471 yes but it can do massive amounts of damage if you add lots of effects, use at medium range. Also, splash damage
@@nikhiljehman6388 it's really only good for crowd control and fps killers
Hi this is awesome
Can you also talk about bow usage since tipped arrows are such useful items in combat
Ez win no diff
basicly all of the minecraft pvp in one vid
