I have to stop in the middle to get ready for work. Boo. That's a four letter word! I'll finish watching when I GET to work. Hahaha! Is that bad? 😏 But I wanted to take a minute to tell you that you are a wonder Wonder woman! Gur, when I was 24 I couldn't feed myself or find my car keys let alone live alone in NYC in such an organized and well designed space. And you are obviously well traveled and have such meaningful pieces in your collection. I'm serious, as someone old enough to be your mother let me say that it can take years to get to the level of style and organization that you have in your space and you deserve all the props! And you're so organized but make it look effortless and livable. Okay, I'll quit gushing before I sound weird(er) 😉. And I have some SERIOUS sofa envy. That vintage leather sofa really makes the room; perfect scale for the space, but still large enough to lounge and be comfortable plus it looks rich and chic! I'm excited to finish watching! Aw thank you so much! I did not; I knew some Mandarin and Cantonese but can not speak it now 😂 I did a summer program following my freshman year and studied at Sichuan University, it was an international program so students and teachers from all over did classes. Lucky for me (just in terms of understanding) people spoke English, but I do want to learn (it’s just so hard to learn 😩 especially as an adult)

I love your apartment. It's nicely modern with some eclectic touches. One question. How do you keep your cat from eating your plants. When my cat was alive she went after all my plants. Can you tell me your secret in keeping your cat away from your plants? thank you.
Firstly, thank you so much ☺️
Secondly, I’m really lucky with my cat, she could CARE LESS about my plants haha! I do still keep the ones that aren’t safe for her to ingest out of her reach to be safe. In terms of tips though I’ve heard putting tinfoil over the soil/base of the plant really helps! Cats don’t like the feel or sound when they try to touch the plant since the tin foil is there! I hope that helps

Thanks! I’m an artist so I support “myself” lol. My big white artwork I made, the canvas in my bathroom is second hand from my neighbor which I will be painting over, and the print is my photo. Almost all of my small ceramics are by small artists, which I shouted out and put their contacts in the description- feel free to support them yourself. I also have other artwork from artists which I don’t have up currently 😊

Lol I know. I did what I could with the footage I had and added lots of b-roll/cutaway shots. You can see the table in some of my other clips! My partner helped me film and did a great job for his first time filming a YT tour.

I noticed you put "living alone in Brooklyn" in the title and I'd like to say for personal safety reasons, I wouldn't include that in the title in the future. I do not mean this in any ill way, I just get scared when people disclose this kind of info online, especially being a woman. We have to stay extra careful out here. Just thought I'd share that. If you knew me or cared to have a conversation/ask questions you’d know I’m plant based. My couch is vintage, not purchased new. I know an animal died for my couch. You should keep in mind the environmental aspect of things as well, faux leather is horrible for the environment which also hurts animals.
