BEJAMPUNG is a piece named after and inspired by a Borneo bird. The
piece is centered around the bird’s movement characteristics, being
fast, sharp, and entertaining which was woven into the piece as the
movement qualities. The piece also explores how the birds' quick
reaction to noise, which helps them detect and avoid hunters as well
as predators, becomes the signature of the piece.
