What’s this hotel in NYC?
I've had such a hard month for December, the hardest month of my life. I am just now able to watch this. You guys bring me so much joy getting to watch this now. ❤❤❤

As someone from the UK, I love living vicariously through you taking a real life US road trip! Although the toll situation is wild 😂
I live in Maryland on the coast, and we don’t have tolls over here, but there are a ton of tolls, and they are annoying but go online and get yourselves a EZPass you keep $25 on it and it will automatically deduct the tolls from your account balance, you can add to the balance when you know you’re going to travel and you can use all the EZPass lanes which are much quicker! Also works in other EZPass states I believe!
I love watching you guys and it’s so fun to watch you drive through our state, and see our AWESOME flag which is most Marylanders personality trait! Next time you come in the summer drive to the coast and stay by the beach! Def worth it!!!

when i road trip for a long time i wear these pressure point bracelets thingy, they help so much with my motion sickness! cars make me so nauseous all the time and these things really work!
My daughter is the same in NYC! She loves it, a city girl at heart. She’s a year younger than AJ and has the same ambition of living in NYC.
im from Maryland and its always so funny seeing y'all drive through here, im near Baltimore so im used to the craziness of our traffic and highways and always forget how scary it is to others. glad y'all made it safe

I am thrilled you’re going to the WaWa!! Papa Francis talked about them all the time so on our honeymoon, he took me to probably five different WaWa’s!! And we “had” to get the Tasty Cakes!!!!!
Next time you are in NY I recommend exploring into PA/NJ - Lambertville and New Hope is so fun to explore and you can get a taste of beautiful landscapes outside of the industrial parts of the north east! It’s less than 2 hours from NY!

The tolls in that area are RIDICULOUS!! Me and my daughter drove from North Carolina to New York and i swear we hit at least twenty different ones!

As a west coaster seeing all the border stops is shocking but it makes so much sense! I live in WA and have driven clear down to Mexico and seen nothing like that until we get to Mexico. OR up north at Vancouver BC, so when leaving the country of course. Super interesting to see the east coast, thanks for taking us along. HAVE FUN J & A!!! 🍎🌃❤️💚🎄
In the future, there will be a button at the booth that says “push for ticket.” You get the ticket and present that to the next toll and it will determine how much you pay. I love how excited yall were for Wawa and having someone pump your gas 😂 one thing I missed about living in NJ!
I live in NY and when I first started to travel to NC (my brother and his family live there) I asked myself the same question, do they pump your gas for you in other states or just NJ!!? FYI just NJ 😂😂😂😂 ALSO EZ PASS itself is free, so you should get one and when you travel you won’t have to worry about tolls while traveling because it is attached to your cc or debit account. Ezpass will bill you if you don’t have an Ezpass attached to your window. Love you guys ❤❤❤ ENJOY NEW YORK ITS BEAUTIFUL HERE 🎅🏻🎄

the gas pumping thing makes me laugh every time. growing on on Long Island most stations have full serve and self serve options. some are all full serve. so normal for us!
also the lincoln tunnel! i now live in hoboken so i take the tunnel daily (in a bus). its a cluster every single time hahahha
I suggested Luray Caverns in VA but there’s literally a cavern in TN. In Sevierville. I’ve never been but I want to go

lol ezpass on the east coast is the same one for all of the states i think, I live in in MD and have never had any issues driving up to ny and back
as a pennsylvania girlie, there’s typically a booth before you actually have to pay and each lane just has a machine that dispenses the ticket that the guy was telling you about:) although some are different now because during the pandemic (at least here) they just started sending a bill to your house instead of paying during the drive lol. hope you guys are having the best time!!!🫶🏻
from NJ, the tolls are brutal! Sounds like you were on the NJ turnpike you should have got a physical ticket when you got on and you hand the guy the ticket when you get off so they know how much to charge you. Since you didn’t have a ticket he probably charged you the max amount 😬 if you have ez-pass you avoid the whole ticket thing. Have a great trip, Merry Christmas 🎄
Your Maryland and NJ tolls will be sent to you via mail in a few weeks! They got rid of cash tolls to make traffic flow faster

I'm from Northern California and travel to and through Oregon and they pump your gas there and I absolutely hate it! I try to avoid getting gas in Oregon at all cost, or I've found a few random towns that will let you do it yourself so that's where I stop.

Also, I’m from VA and I literally work in a factory 😂. Y’all..there’s like 8 factories around just the little town I live in. I mean granted it’s a factory surrounded by farm land and cows but still factories. And there’s definitely factories in TN. Where I work has a building in Memphis.
yes of course there are factories but definitely smaller and less industrial for sure!!

Y'all are too cute. All those tolls will kill you in Jersey lol. If memory serves me correct, if you don't have ez pass, you have to stop at a booth and get a ticket. If no one is in the booth, there will be a button on the outside somewhere that you'll have to touch in order for the ticket to pop out. If you don't, you'll have to pay that ridiculous fee.

So you can’t go through an EZpass lane in NJ if you don’t have it. You need to go through a ticket lane in order to get the ticket. or you pay the full price 😭
Did I miss why you don’t have an ezpass? I can’t imagine doing any kind of road trip without mine.
it’s not a thing for us lol - we have our car registered with one in each state we can but not all give us the ez pass options
@@JennicaandAnnica oh ok! That’s so weird. I have my ezpass registered to my car and I’ve travelled up and down the east coast with it several times so I was confused.

It looked so cute and she would love to do most of the things you guys show in your videos. I have told her to watch the vlogmas NYC playlist for ideas. We live in MD and I get such a kick out of you guys traveling through our area (the tolls/eazypass are a flippin nightmare😂). We also love cherry blossoms and all things DC! Thanks again!
I have to comment again.. The toll situation is so insane and I have had all the same issues you ladies are facing. It's really not a fair system for travelers.
How do you guys find parking I'm the city? Do you pay outrageous prices?
Just paused the video to say whatever state you were in when you only had the ez-pass option... Look for a bill to be mailed to you or check their .gov website/call them so you can pay. I live in Delaware not far from the Delaware memorial bridge you crossed to get to Jersey ❤. Also, the same thing happened to me years ago with the toll where they asked for a ticket that i should've got at some point before that booth and there was no other place i could've gotten a ticket so i had to pay over $20, but i think that was in PA on the blue route...it has to be a scam lol. Ok back to the video 😁
