In this lecture, I have explained the essentials of a Contract of Indemnity. Also, I have answered two important questions:
1) When can Indemnifier be held liable?
2) Can Indemnity holder claim to be indemnified before he is actually demnified?

Yes, he can take before loss but there should be surety of happening of loss

You can write meaning & explain features of this contract under nature. You can write like this: Contracts of insurance, indemnity and guarantee are contingent in nature. A contingent contract is a contract to do or not to do something, if some event, collateral to such contract, does or does not happen.
A contract of indemnity is an agreement to be liable for the acts of another and one of its essential features is that it exists only between two parties and no other party is relevant to the subject matter of the contract.
There is difference between contract of Indemnity & guarantee (explain with difference & examples)
Provide any case law also.
