  • Like a modern day hymnal, Susanne Sundfør comes out with what sounds like a celebration of life, with leikara ljóð.

    Thanks for your reaction!
I’ve always liked Susanne Sundfør’s versatility as an artist. Some folks just want her to do pop/electronic music… which is fine, but there’s something for (most) everyone.
Referring to the longer version of the song:
“Leikara Ljóð. Not without reason did Susanne Sundfør choose this title. It represents Sundfør's spiritual thoughts in a wonderful way. Ljóð means light and leikara can be a song of words or a story. If you interpret it as playing, it means a group of people dancing in a circle to Norwegian folk music. Completely irrelevant if you listen to the first five minutes, but if you keep listening you get an instrumental Harding fiddle solo. A song that brings together two completely different sound traditions in one: From gospel to Norwegian folk music.”

    Great reaction you two.
With all due respect though, I think it is time for more Lucy Thomas.
It is almost Christmas and I don't believe you have ever reacted to "O Holy Night" cover duet by Lucy and Martha.
    Please, please, please!
You won't hear a more touching version of "O Holy Night" anywhere.
