Thanks for your reaction! I’ve always liked Susanne Sundfør’s versatility as an artist. Some folks just want her to do pop/electronic music… which is fine, but there’s something for (most) everyone. Referring to the longer version of the song: “Leikara Ljóð. Not without reason did Susanne Sundfør choose this title. It represents Sundfør's spiritual thoughts in a wonderful way. Ljóð means light and leikara can be a song of words or a story. If you interpret it as playing, it means a group of people dancing in a circle to Norwegian folk music. Completely irrelevant if you listen to the first five minutes, but if you keep listening you get an instrumental Harding fiddle solo. A song that brings together two completely different sound traditions in one: From gospel to Norwegian folk music.”
Thank you !!!! Her new songs are marvelous ( peculiar enough the titels mostly in old norse... but her grandfather was professor in old languanges like old norse and sanskrit... so maybe..)
Great reaction you two. With all due respect though, I think it is time for more Lucy Thomas. It is almost Christmas and I don't believe you have ever reacted to "O Holy Night" cover duet by Lucy and Martha. Please, please, please! You won't hear a more touching version of "O Holy Night" anywhere.
Thanks for your reaction!
