I'm white. I've never used epis. I do NOT care if I have a large batch of epis in my fridge. Girl, if I like it, I'll use it on my Thanksgiving turkey. 😃

Your turkey will be delicious. If you use epis in conjunction with the Tony Chacere's injectable butter marinade you'll be licking the bone. Let it marinade for about 2 days. I fry mine every year. I get requests to make it for several people. I put my turkey in the 2 1/2 gallon size zippered bag.

The already peeled garlic does not have as much flavor as garlic you peel yourself.

That epis look bomb I know it taste good you make cooking Haitian food look so easy but I’m still struggling even in my 30s I’m embarrassed to say but it’s true.I wish I watched my mom when I was growing up 😢

I agree with you. She makes it look sooooooo easy. I’m Haitian and I’m in my 40’s and struggle as well. My mother passed away a couple years ago and I regret that I didn’t sit there and learn how to make Haitian food from her. So the next best thing is to learn from watching TH-cam videos and this is by far the best video out there. Hands down

Sofrito uses cilantro instead of parsley I'm curious to try this 😂 also we usually don't put bullion cubes nor sazon we add that later to the food and just use veggies for the Sofrito
