5m² kite in only 19 - 29 kn
Today was the 6th time on the water with the Racekite - and the tube still hasn't exploded :)
Although there is only one strut instead of 5, the thing hangs like a board in the air even in gusts of over 30 kn: nothing fidgets at all.
You don't have to depower in a gust - instead you just start moving forward.
Jumping was the surprise of all: the thing rips you up like a C-kite (including the 2nd lift). Oooops!
Probably because you get really fast in square to close wind, the kite turns at lightning speed and hardly deforms during the lift.
But beware if you try a “normal” kite again afterwards - it’s no fun at all anymore. I can throw away all of my old “drag parachutes”.
The funny thing is that take-off and landing helpers don't even realize what they have in their hands. Nobody is counting on that ;)
