    Great info and tutorial, thank you. Any chance that you have a video on how to plug wrap with the cured prawns? I'm curious to see that setup. Thanks!

    How’s this for chinook? I’ve only ever tried sandshrimp for chinook, was thinking of trying coon shrimp this year but this look like something cool to try.

      Shrimp work well for Chinook as a combo bait. Paired with eggs (the “cocktail” combo) works awesome. Kings do like cured coon shrimp and the cured prawns will work too. Definitely nice to have as another option to try

    Do you fish them whole ever when steelhead and salmon fishing? Iv used the shrimp raw (white uncured) in the past with no luck but I’m going to try this. Looks amazing. Thanks for the video!

    Seems to me better to eliminate a step and pull the tail shells before you brine them, yes?

      David Petty you definitely could if you wanted to. No harm either way

    How long is the Shrimp good after curing?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question, usually they stay good for a month or so in the fridge. At least that is how long I have before used up typically

    Does farm raised or wild caught shrimp make a difference?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not at all I’ve seen. I just use raw and not cooked

    Will stripper bass eat these cured shrimp?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't see why they wouldn't. Good scent and ability to make them last longer being cured. Definitely worth a try

    Can you burn the bait with the powder cure?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Miss K yes it is possible if too much cure is applied. Typically I start with a light dusting and then rub it in liberally and see how it looks afterwards

    I just use them plain with or without shell and a pink puffball or corkie...makes no difference cured or not...basically a waste of time.Side drifting it we boat a lot of fish
