I relate so much, even though it's a bit different for me but still, i'm 18 and i remember looking up to the "cool teenagers" and all the teenage/young adult culture of late 2000s/early 2010's when i was a kid and just waiting so i could enjoy it but then as i grew up all the trends changed and i still have this weird empty feeling as if something was taken away from me. Of course i've read all of the twilight books and listened to SO many emo songs from that era and tried to enjoy the ~ vibes ~ but it's just not the same as it would've been consuming the media and fashion when it was just coming out. Not to say that i hate all of todays pop culture but i still have that weird longing,, and early 2010s pop music kind of was better than mainstream pop today
