"Hey, you're a MILLIONAIRE! Just don't forget that 'money isn't everything'! In fact, in this game, it isn't anything. That check you just saw, you know, for a virtual $1 MILLION? Just our polite way of saying it's worth nothing. NOTHING! See you next time." We Love You and We Will Miss You, Regis Philbin.
It’s heartbreaking to hear him say that though. Knowing damn well if you were really sitting in the hot seat that would have been the payday of a lifetime. Lol
Since the 2nd Edition was everything that it needed to be, 3rd Edition is more of the same with all new questions. If you love trivia, that's hardly a bad thing.
I love that so many people knew about naming yourself "Regis" to get a witty remark. I remember trying that to see what would happen over 20 years ago. My brother and I thought it was hilarious. Hell, I still do.
When I was a kid around 7 years old (2002) I was playing this game. I used a 50/50 lifeline and it glitched and took away the three wrong answers and left me the right one LOL
TheDeviantTH-camr Hence why if you put Regis as your name, it's changed to something else. Or, on YDKJ, if you don't give your name, the computer makes one for you. Similarly, both the WWTBAM US and YDKJ games also have events that can cause the games to end immediately. WWTBAM has it where, if you don't say how many people are playing, or if everyone fails Fastest Finger First too many times, then Regis gets mad and closes the game himself. And in YDKJ's Gibberish Questions, if all three players type "Fuck You" as the answer, the host ends the game, but not before screwing with your scores and names.
Shadowmane PX-41 I loved hearing Regis get pissed in this game. Also, in the PlayStation versions of YDKJ, if you don't select a number of players or you interrupt the person's instructions, they go right to the game with some hilarious quotelike "all right let's hurry up we're going to start this"!
At 3:10 you can see that Nintendo complete is showing us that the Regis philbin Easter egg is back from the 2nd edition PS1 game I'd do it myself only at this point in my life I prefer to name myself after the characters from the 3ds game super smash brothers 4;-)
I remember seeing an ad for a parody game called "Who Wants to Beat Up a Millionaire?" but i never saw it anywhere so I keep wondering if i was just crazy.
Thanks for uploading this 🎮. I've been looking everywhere for this. In fact, I kept messing up and getting everything right in the Fastest Finger round. Did you have these problems once?
Interesting, so the Playstation version plays the lights down theme before each question, the PC version does not and just plays the woosh sound when you're going back to the screen for the next question. Also, the Playstation version doesn't break away from the screen during the first five questions unlike the PC version which always shows you the set after each question. 2nd edition didn't do that, I wonder why they changed it in the 3rd edition. And one more thing, is it just me or does Regis sound a bit more gangsta-like in this version over the past two previous installments?

Regis Philbin was a savage in the games

something interesting I just learned is that this game was developed by Jackbox Games (At the time, Jellyvision)

There is 1 Lifeline left its double dip
Silly. You got Regis on name into secret but game will called you, "Imposter." Hahaha Nice work.

Wait a minute if you name yourself Regis… Regis seems be honesty to you and called you imposter.
Hang on I get deja Vu…. 😧
“Regis Philbin is looking pretty sus”
That’s all I can come up with when you typed in his name and the graphics automatically changed it to ”Imposter”
What if the person playing this name was really Regis? They can’t use their own name LOL

Nope, you weren't crazy. It's really a thing. I have it, but I never really played it. I'm sure I still have it somewhere in my collection.
that game gets harder for you
that $200 question was definitely easy besides I’m a Floridian myself

@Antonio Di Pierno Alex Trebek too.
I was just playing this game in the Fastest Finger First mode and I made Regis rage quit in the game by tying or getting the wrong answer enough times
I'm sorry to hear that. Everyone isn't always perfect at the Fastest Finger round.
