OH NSAP YOU GUYYS ... IT'S REALLY FREE!!!! Even tells you the material schedules directly on the site! ... Music is awesome too. I'm a sucker for that Miami Vice style music. 80's will always rule.
Seems like its way overbuilt but some people like to do that. I would just use 8 - 4x4's, 2x? girts all the way around the top (no bracing on the posts) and instead of sheeting and shingles, I would use 2x2 purlins across the rafters and metal roofing. Girts and rafters sized for snow load. Way cheaper and still solid.
I don’t think it’s way over built at all. I appreciate the half lap joinery, and the birds mouth cuts for the rafters. The sheathing on top will be a nice solid substrate for the finished roof. And the angle braces will keep it nice and plumb
How much snow and wind would that hold up to. I’m looking to build a roof over our camp trailer because I’m tired of keeping snow off it. Also I want some to stand 100mph winds as every winter we have gust to at least 70mph.
Nice video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Canackenzie Astounded Cure (do a search on google)? It is a great one of a kind guide for building better sheds and master woodworking minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.
Cheers for the video content! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you considered - Canackenzie Astounded Cure (just google it)? It is a good one off guide for building better sheds and master woodworking minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my close friend Aubrey finally got excellent results with it.

I love your enthusiasm! That's why I make plans for!
Great video
Thumbs up for the awesome jams
How do I get the plans for the lean to carport?
Link in the description
Hi where can I get plans to build this??
Link in the description
do you need a permit for this?
Depends entirely on the laws of the city/county where it’s to be built.
I just came for the soundtrack
would this work for an RV if you made it bigger?
I'm just finishing this carport for my boat. Smart design and very forgiving...Thank you....
My pleasure!
What was your build cost?
Build cost please ?

You should do a video for this too. Be great to see.
could you help me with simple plans to do something similar?
I get the jist of what your saying, but can you explain it in just a little more detail? thanks!

What was the pitch for the roof if you don’t mind me asking?
I have just watched/listened to this two times in a row! Love that Synthesizer! Where'd you locate the mix?

I need a lean to like this one but I need it about 2 of them ..Enough to fit a vehicle motor cycle and small trailer
That's a great vid,lays it like a blueprint
Love the music, reminds me of what we were used to hearing in the 80’s.
love the 1982 music
Thanks for the sharing, i really like your solution
Glad you like it
👌👌👌💯👍💯💯💯👌
How do you determine the length of the braces from post to roof framing material ?
@FATHER GUIDOSARDUCHI - Miss you on SNL ...
EXCELLENT!
Love the detail work👍🏾
can you build one on wheels so we can move it all around the yard???? Its got to be on steel so i can weld it.
That's an interesting idea... It would need additional reinforcement which would make the construction really heavy.
Not if you use welding
nice simple _design_, but post&beam of any size leads to needing some pretty pricey (and sometimes hard-to-get) lumber. 24' 6x6... well over $100
You can join beams together to make larger ones, if you don't have access to 24' long ones.
Appreciate the free plans, pity about the moronic soundtrack.
You can always set the volume to 0.
@@howtospecialist LOL
Um, back in the day, people could turn the volume down on radios, before TVs. Volume...ya know.
What is this BANGING tune? Came for a carport design ended up having a dance party. ✌️
