    Combat range of both F-35A and F-35C is around 750 - 800 nmi (1390 - 1480km). NOT 1080km. And this is before the engine core upgrade. Also its only 12700 kgf NOT 13000 kgf dry thrust and 19500 kgf NOT 9500 kgf afterburner thrust. Additionally F-22 has the largest wing 2nd only to SU-57 with its F-119 engine producing the most thrust. So its combat range is comparable if not more than either Su-57 and J-20. According to f-16()net, it can reach 2000km+ going at Mach 1 at 50k feet. Lastly, R37M is a big and heavy missile. US equivalent is AIM-174B that will be carried by F18E/F maybe even F-15EX in the future. Then their is still Raytheon's LREW or Boeing's LRAAM.

      I thought this info was wrong because I know that the F 35 engine is the strongest single engine ever made. I also know that they say it's 43, 000 lbs of thrust, which in all honesty from sources in the military say that it's 50,000lbs of thrust! Could you please explain KG and KGF? Is that just the conversion of kilograms?

    • @scottmcauley5781
      @scottmcauley5781 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Have you seen the ERAAM and CAAM missiles, and if so, thoughts?

    • @johnsilver9338
      @johnsilver9338 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@scottmcauley5781 kg is a standard unit of mass, while kgf is a non-standard gravitational unit of force. Conversion is 1 kgf =~ 9.807 N =~ 2.205 lbf. Also when mentioning thrust in British gravitational units its lbf NOT lbs. So its 43,000 lbf or 50,000 lbf

    • @johnsilver9338

      @@scottmcauley5781 Don't know much about CAAM. But AIM-174B or air-launched SM-6/ERAAM will be a massive boon for USN if not a game changer. It's a very versatile missile as its a dual purpose long range air-to-air missile/anti-ship missile. So its like Chinese PL-17, Russian R-37 and Kinzhal combined. While also only half the price of Kinzhal. Only issue is the production numbers. They could at least improve it to 500 a year if not more.

TR-3A began being deployed in January 2023, with TR-3B in 2025, concluding in final revision D, expected to be completed in 2029. It's the best mix of quality, quantity, support, logistics, training, and manufacturing. The F-35's will probably never fly alone. In Europe, F-35s will fly with typhoons, vigens and dassult, f-15, and f-16 aircraft flown by our allies and coordinated over link-16. Likewise, in the Middle East, American, Israeli, Saudi, and UAE aircraft are being coordinated with assets from our carrier task force. The same will be true in the Pacific with the addition of indigenous aircraft from Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and Australia. Russia may never again be in a position to partner with anyone. Even China sees that an open partnership isn't possible. So when talking numbers nationalism is no longer relevant. Cooperative consortiums are the future!

Did you know that the US military armed trained and supplied the Afgan Army and then left as planned. Did you know the US millitary was not defeated in any way? I had friends that were there. They fought way too nice. Rules of engagement were such that a Taliban could be dressed as a civillian wave and smile at you as you walked by. Then as you went by he shot you in the back. That's gorilla war. Gorilla war can not be defeated without just rounding up and killing everyone that moves. Same thing in Vietnam US had so much fire power we weren't defeated. If you look at no of deaths per side it was overwhelmingly one sided. US troops would give out candy bars and try and befriend the villagers. The Vietcong would see a village that had been friendly and helpful to the Americans and come in and kill every one. The US left Vietnam because it became politically unpopular at home not because we were defeated on the battle field . Even during the famous TET offensive which turned political opinion against the war the US forces still drove the Vietcong out and defeated them millitaraly. If we hadcwaged the war the same way we fought WW2 it could have been over quickly. If we had sent the US Navy into Hi foung harbor and landed 50,000 marines in Hanoi it would have been over. The trouble for a half dozen SU57s is they aren’t actually 5th gen but just a tad lower observable up against over a thousand actual 5th gen. This not even counting the F22 which just added new long range capability which the SU57 can’t compete with.
      Fun to dream though

    Shouldn't this be classified as top secret. Exposing this to scare opponents is pure propaganda.
